Seems odd there was no warning, no social media presence from anyone involved in the forum and no explanation. I did hear rumors it was DDOS attack but unconfirmed

I guess that tells us something at least. We can infer that it was not a planned outage. That is if there is any real interest in the community here on the part of the new owners other than that of a revenue stream.

One could expect that a conspiratorial mind would immediately jump to this kind of notion. That could lead to the ''rumors'' you might have heard whereas a simple technical glitch or a failure to create profit for the owners would not even get responses to the level of ''rumor''

After reading what they've had to say the last four days or so I'd suggest that they are as clueless as the rest of us as to why ATS went down....and just as angry.

I guess we'd all like to see a bit more transparency moving forwards, we'll see.

Maybe we should give people time to try and find out wtf went on?

I held three possiblities.
One censorship
Two, failure to make a profit in our profit driven culture
Three, technical glitch.

It being back rules out number one and two. That is of course unless that shut down was needed to further some as yet to be known deeper nefarious and clandestine ops.

I personally don't necessarily buy that explanation. I just mentioned because there was ongoing BS on twitter where someone said they and their 'group' did the attack. Of course, we all know if it's on the internet it must be true!

That has been mentioned elsewhere past few days, that all the crazy right wing stuff was why they took it down, apparently not the case since the crazy stuff is still here. Sad, the site is becoming an alt right mouthpiece and gotten far away from it's roots

I don't constraint myself to any political ideology or party , but calling out the lefts BS in current times or questioning the msm narrative is all that is needed to be labeled Alt Right. Also it appears that labeling people as alt right is the new lazy method of the left to save face when they cant win an argument.

Heck I know I have been accused of being alt right many times despite my numerous posts calling the Republican party as being equally full of Sh1t as the left. Heck I have even been accused of being a democrat.
