I merely stated the obvious on a reply to the OP .

When dealing with my minions in the realm of engineering, I caution them on one point.

Confidence without competence will get people killed.

You need competence in order to have confidence in what you do and say.

The "confidence" of the American politician or even the regular "Joe 6-pack" is a false confidence based upon media depictions and relying on historical precedence when Americans DID have confidence with competence.

Was about to ask you anyways why you are so fixated on the 2 party system thing. It's like whataboutism on steroids and there are civilized countries that have more than two popular parties competing. I don't think the user was complaining about it not being a one party system.

Might be me though, who knows in these days.

Well , I could have debated the entire article .
However , I went with the most obvious first .

Laying all aside , I will say the US is one hades of a stupid country .
1) They elected a President more stupid than they are .
2) US policy is driven by the press (the ones calling for the US to send our MiGs to the Ukraine)
