I've seen a few Hollywood movies and shows showing exactly that.
I remember one with Travolta...

Looking at how things are going, it looks like ALL of the "western" countries were infiltrated, not only the USA.

I would agree if not for the fact both did so much more damage to the world than Trump. And he wasn't a saint but what the people liked with him, including me, is that he didn't start new wars, seeked/tried to keep his promises. Even if you disagree with his politics, you have to give that to him.

Was he a loudmouth and polarizing troll many times? For sure.
Did he lack expression about scientific topics that the media then exploited to make # up: Indeed he wasn't qualified to comment on many things.

Now, since you brought up Obama. He actually started wars and actively broke his promises. I was happy the day he became President because back then I was naive and thought he would make a difference. Close Guantanamo for example.

Hillary? Her behavior and general respect towards human life is non existent. She asks for droning away unpleasant people and let's soldiers die on hotel roofs in different countries. Over 20 calls for extraction and no reaction. But hey, at this point, does it matter?

All three are no saints but you can't refute at least Trump didn't go into new wars, pushed the US economy, seeked local jobs.

If I compare the three in attrocities they did, Trump only tops them in mean twitter messages. The whole rage about the person Trump is rather towards his personality than what he did right or wrong during his tenure. And we both know the Democrats did everything to block, hinder him.

That's why so many are seeing this TDS sickness. Bringing up Hillary when it fit's the topic because she had her claws in, is not the same as coming up with Trump in every second, probably every 1.5 post statistically.

We are damn stoopid, lol.

That was an annoying article to read, in any case. I skimmed over the meat due to all the fat and gristle I think.

Agreed. However, there seems to be a campaign to make and keep Americans in the dark & stupid. Why is that?

Easier to control/contain. The same happened when 'servants' up until the late 19th century at least couldn't read/write and were discouraged from doing so.

Based on certain qualifiers such as the belief in the 2-party system

Name me ONE , just ONE , civilized country that does not have at least a 2-party system .
The rest are either 3rd world or countries ruled by despots where their people are suffering .

The American people have been played by being conditioned to vote for a D or R. Things will largely remain the same until a sufficient number of people wake up for real and begin electing enough third-party candidates to break the D/R monopoly.

Nah I would not say it like that. Just distracted by inner country ongoings. USA is like 19x bigger than my country so it's normal that you get 19x the distractions. We get the treatment now in Europe too.

Left is right and up is down.

It's in the education system, which is the last hope. If we can't change it, the next generation will watch idiocracy and marvel at their brilliance.

I see your point. Not trying to argue the validity of the 2 Party System. Just trying to point out my belief that the 2 Party System in the US is broken. The article points out how politicians are brought by lobbyists or corporations here un the US. Not saying that it doesn't happen in other countries, just that it's a problem here in the US.

I hope it's not too late. The Education system does need an overhaul; that's a whole other thread.

I totally get what you're saying; you're right of course (and thank you), something about this particular brand of stoopid--the Idiocracy type of flair--seems special to me (wait.. isn't that an example of American Exceptionalism?):

The only valid point is her third. Our military industrial complex is horrific.

The article is talking about the US. If it talked about the World then my post would be about the entire world.

Do what constantly Duck? Make my statements about Trump? Is that it? I often comment about the man who is trying to take over the Republican Party? A man who constantly holds rallies and conferences to gain media attention? That Trump?
