We have it so good in the united states today that people can eat meat with every meal while they sit on their ass talking to others instantly across the globe about how unfair life is.
The poorest of us lives better than kings of the past.

While all of that may be true, I can't help but wonder: Are people happier now?

Of course I can't know for sure, but just in general, I don't think they are. I think people were happier when times were simpler. Everything may have been more difficult, but maybe that simply made it more rewarding.
