In order to control the planet you need to control Eurasia. The easiest way to do it is to make a war - Europe against Russia, like it was done during Napoleon invasion, WW1 and WW2. Then you deal with the Winnie the Pooh. But Europe didn't joined this time.

Funny. The US tried to reduce it's presence in NATO in the 90"s. The other NATO countries threw a fit. They needed the US there because they had reduced their defense spending so much that they needed US money.

To be fair now your hatred of Trump made you jump to the conclusion Trump was backing Putin's invasion of Ukraine which doesn't look to be true. I also don't think it's fair to say that many on the site are being critical of the US because of Biden since this site has for a very long time now had many members who were anti-US/West/allies of the US especially when it comes to geopolitics and it didn't matter who was in the Whitehouse. I will say I do think many on this site would have a deferent view point if a US ally was doing what Russia was doing and the excuses people are making for Russia are BS to say the least.

When the Russians moved missiles into Cuba we violated the sovereignty of Cuba at the Bay of Pigs. When we failed to topple that state we carried on a multi-generation trade embargo against their country purely out of spite.

The United States waged an illegal war in Iraq that was condemned by the UN and we toppled a sovereign government just to make little boy Bush feel better. That bad man Hussein threatened his dad, after all.

The Ukrainian government started the war against the Ethnic Russian, Ukrainian citizens in Eastern Ukraine in 2015 killing tens of thousands on both sides, Nobody ever says anything about that. The media spent the last 7 years calling them "Russian sepratists"

No Russia started this when Putin thought it was a good idea to rebuild the Russian Empire and he didn't care how many bodies it takes it achieve that goal. The talk about Putin is going to invade Ukraine goes back a long time and even people who are far from foreign policy experts saw it coming. Trying to blame Russia's invasion of Ukraine on Neo-Cons, Ukraine Nazi's, NATO, John McCain, or because of the fighting in Donbas is silly. I hate to break it you but those groups are Russian Separatists who been backed by Russia.
