Believe what you want, I’m not trying change your mind, if you think you are God, then why not use you’re power to change everything to your liking? Keep in mind that you stated you were God, not a God. So, yes that qualifies as an arrogant statement. If your claim is that you are a God, that’s more along the lines of just being laughable. And yes you will find out once you pass that threshold, and I wish you luck, because I think you are going to need it when you meet the real deal.

We are the same, what would revolt me is existence, awareness, consciousness, and being, in the absence of God. If you follow and believe in Gods word, then you won’t have to fear any of that. I know what’s there, I fear I won’t be good enough to get there. Also there is that whole dying thing I’m not too keen about.

Everyone has a different path to god, and some have none at all, it’s all in the concept of free will. We are free to choose what sounds good to us, hopefully we do the right thing.

I could tell you how to get proof, that’s the easy part, but you are not really receptive to anything I’m saying. I sense bitterness and anger from you. Quite possibly you have had some bad luck thru you’re life. You’re not alone in that. It’s not an enjoyable way to go thru life I know, because I’ve felt that way.

Some people blame God for what happened in their life, or as proof of the non existence of God. It’s pretty common. It’s part of human nature to look for a reason things happen, or someone to blame. Sounds to me like you are pissed at God. That’s not going to work out well for you, if you are, I would ask how well that’s worked out for you so far.

Deep down even non believers feel Gods presence. They won’t admit it, or if they did they would call it something else, but he is still there and waiting to be acknowledged. There is enough time left for mankind to come around, but that time will eventually run out. And no one knows when that will happen.

Plenty of evil gods out there to pick from

But if there was no good gods then where does the goodness come from, I'm good, more the anti hero though than the good guy, I want to destroy evil... Is that good?

Or what about the flower, is wind evil to the flower, constant stress, but flowers become big and beautiful under this pressure, in fact pain advances evolution, personal and societal, this is a fact known to me

So if there is no evil, do we advance? I would say with ougt duality, we are doomed to exticntion, because evolution of being is the reason our souls are here

Imo

BTW I watched this Rabbi describe life after death quite well, he was asked, is there life after death, and his reply was this is a silly question because there is only life after life and death after death, the thing tha dies is already dead (dust) and the thing that lives is always alive, they just leave each other

It obviously happens to make you stronger, I say obviously because that is what happens to every organic thing on this earth, it evolves through stress, the environment moulds everything and if you can't handle the environment you die and are replaced, nature and the animal kingdom display this, so if we are here to evolve this human being then sacrifice and stress is the way to do it

You feel anger mate! That's good, that's very good in fact, because as soon as you concentrate that anger on something productive to you and not waste time on the shhh you can't change. You could do anything, if you continue blaming god and everything else then well, good luck

I believe these pictures are a vision from God. What do you all think?

I do not think they are. The first image I’m guessing is someone’s idea of what/where heaven is? Above and outside of Earth? Which makes sense as much of the literature and imagery of Christianity shows people ‘rising up’ to heaven, again suggesting it’s above us.

Question: What happens if (when) an asteroid hits Earth and obliterates us? WHat happens to heaven? Is it still there above the place Earth would have been? If it’s in another dimension then why both with the upwards rising in the literature? Seems far fetched and made up.

Second picture looks like some typical American Christian archetypal nonsense…

Heaven is a yellow, double pane, hollowed, glass ceiling all around Earth.

I don't believe an asteroid has ever hit Earth from Outer Space. Seems to me, meteorites come from inside Heaven. If Heaven were to crack, the solar winds and radiation would come flooding in and kill all life on Earth (or at least all life on dry land).

Apparently this has happened before to cause the great flood. In that instance, I think heaven cracked because of too much CO2 build up around the borders of Lybia, Egypt, and Sudan. Think of how a dry ice bomb works. You can find supporting evidence of this by searching, Lybian desert glass.

TextWe are told we will not be happy in this world, if we are then we are a part of this world and not Gods kingdom, how can someone be happy surrounded by evil?

And yet here you are on ATS a rock solid piece of this world and definitely not Gods Kingdom. Are you happy now?

Can you see the irony?

Yeah still IN the world.

“I have given them your word, and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. I do not ask that you take them out of the world, but that you keep them from the evil one. They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.”

Your arguments are nothing more than illogical fallacies constructed by a simple mind to give itself a warm, huggy, feel good sentiment. Religion is not the basis of morals and morals do not depend on religion. Would you suggest that if it wasn't for religion you would be a rapist, a murderer, a thief and a liar?

As for destroying evil, good luck. Many have tried, often using religion as a pretext. They have all failed. As is what is known to you, that's between you and the pain you have suffered. Religion has nothing to do with it.

Life after death can be described as a chemical process. Oxygen starvation and possibly the release of a small amount of '___' contained in the pineal gland.

These pictures come from an old Jehovah's Witness magazine. I remember this very clearly because I was born and raised as one

I know there are some requirements when they do their missionary work, what to do and how many doors they need to visit etc. They have their little notebooks where they write down peoples names and addresses also were they willing to speak ( this is why they were forbidden to make their own registries in my country by the law) . I doubt that made any difference were there a law or not. We had this deficient patient which had skin cancer, he decided not to take his medicines and tend to take of the bandages after we had treated his skin every time and his skin was worse every visit..He told us that Jehova´s witnesses had visited him and told this and that, it is hard to tell what was in his mind and our treatment was wasted. He is now in hospice care and cannot go back to home. At least he has accepted his destiny and have made his peace.

But God manipulates free will.

Some examples include hardening Pharaoh's heart against him, and sending strong delusions (leaving no room for forgiveness).

Point being, so much for that free will stuff.

How do I know my atheism isn't a direct result of God's intervention of my free will?

Does your lack of belief change what will surely come after this realm ends for you?

maybe "God" was the source of the vision(s) in the sense one's experience is of God. An atheist's "God", not a consciousness except symbolically.

The experience is "God" because, for example, all love is unconditional taken as separate from the ego, so the universe symbolically has an unconditionally loving soul.

And that same one love inspired the vision, maybe.

It is decent art.
