Grew up roman catholic..

Private school.

All it taught me was men in authority, get away with anything.

Was good to hear, 40 years later, one teacher was arrested for molestation dating back to when I was there.

God? Photoshps dont show god... the evil surrounding us, shows he does not exist..

Ummm…that’s pretty bleak…

If you choose to…you can discern wonder in every moment…but you have to uncouple from grasping hurt as if that were some sort of line to life…

If time truly is short…then let that all fall away…let loose the anguish planted in your psyche by serial abusers…

Why join unto them by holding tight to their predation…loose your hold on their influence…and walk no more in their shadow…

It’s you who give them power over you…choose to see wonder instead…as it presents itself in every moment…perhaps it resides in the fall of snow…as individual flakes descend in their unique natures and cover like a white blanket…perhaps it’s in the enormity of the universe as you contemplate how small and seemingly insignificant you seem…yet then further think of how enormous you might seem to an insect that you might choose to spare…knowing you could not make one…knowing that it’s life was it’s own…

There’s amazement waiting to be found…waiting for you to be the one that finds it…and notices…giving that sharp intake of breath…that widening of the eyes and intellect…that sharing of moment and thoughts of one with…

I've taken the opportunity to share some of my beliefs here, and I try to keep them in accordance with the conversation.

I tend to prefer technical conversations with evidence or proof. But I like matters of speculation too.

The clouds in the first picture appear surreal, because you wouldn't expect to see clouds in the sky in a picture that far above earth. The yellow color of the sky is heavenly.

It certainly looks like something in the sky is scaring the folks on the ground, armed as militants, in the second picture. They are lit green. The civilians are lit white, and they look up, without fear, perhaps in awe. An angel appears to love them from behind.

I have never called myself a Jehovah Witness, but maybe they are called that because their religion is based on the premise that they saw God.

I generally don't disagree with people when they call the Bible a book of lies. I think there is truth to be found behind the figures of speech. But it's also fair if people view this style of communication as dishonest.

Catholics acknowledge Jesus as the Son of God. so by definition they are Christians.

If Jesus was raised from the dead they must have given him some of that puffer zombie juice . Mankind can not advance until we understand that these stories are just that stories . I'm not saying that there is nothing but it's not some old dude with a beard living in a compound with pearly gates .

Human kind must agree to not understand and move on with real science and longevity If we do not figure out how to live a lot longer we are already dead as a race one day this planet will go up in smoke if we cant get out of here so will our memory .
