Preface….this story is newly expanded from two other threads that mentioned the USS Paul Hamilton or happened in association with the USS Russell….. but wasn’t given much details. Below are the details….

(my fopar……I left out the name Paul in the thread title)

Source: New infrared image shows 'swarm' of flashing 'Tic-Tac shaped' UFOs chasing four US Navy destroyers off California coast at 70mph

……. “A newly released infrared image showed a 'swarm' of three 'Tic-Tac shaped' UFOs chase four U.S. Navy destroyers off the coast of California.

The grainy image has been released by the Navy and shows what appears to be three small dots, representing unmanned aerial systems (UAS), hovering near the USS Paul Hamilton. It was one of the many occurrences Naval ships saw over the course of weeks, as many destroyers spotted these contraptions in July 2019.”……

Comparisons that have been made…length of a school bus, looks like a Tic-Tac etc.

Very interesting. I looked at the timeline point 4 says in caps 'ONE CRASH IN WATER.'

maybe they could be the UFO's often forgotten cousin the USO? The fact they said one splash in water, one what? Bird? Plane? They fact there is no redactions is that they are being more inconspicuous because we are onto them.,maybe something else entirely.

It's worth digging into.

I don't know why it bugs me so much, but I really don't like that school bus. It adds nothing at all in my opinion, yet for some reason I can't stop thinking about it....

What if they belong to the U.S.Navy and they are testing them real time but want to confuse the public by releasing the odd clip or photo while pretending they are not theirs?

Maybe the tic tacs are involved in abducting children.
If so, it looks like they can fit about thirty kids in a tic tac.

Dots in the sky...
I bet they have zoomed in, high detail pictures of these. But the public is only served the breadcrumbs

Add: The "tic-tac" clip that was released of a plane tracking one over the ocean and the crew being excited about "locking on" was what made me think of this ages ago.

Testing of tracking equipmennt has to be done under real circumstances, yes?

tic tac clip over ocean starts at 2.50 .
"oh oh......got it...". (test positive).

Not sure why or what it might say about me but I found your comment much funnier than I probably should have.

Huh... Maybe that could be an intended consequence? Overload the masses with related information and said masses eventually tire of the subject and quit noticing odd things in the sky.

Dunno... Just more spaghetti smears on my mental wall... nothing ever really sticks.

It's going to be crazy to find out there's been a underwater civilization for 1000's of years that's far more advanced then we are .

Maybe they only recently began venturing out into the air, trying to figure out where all the trash is coming from...

The Army Wants To Launch Drone Swarms Behind Enemy Lines From High-Altitude Balloons

THUNDERHEAD BALLOON SYSTEMS
    Augment Existing Network
    Research and Development
    Tailored Missions
    Reconstitute Lost Aerial Assets
    Communications
    Satellite Alternative
    Position-Navigation-Time (PNT)
    Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR)

Raven Aerostar has established itself as the global leader in the deployment and operation of persistent stratospheric platforms utilized for surveillance, reconnaissance, and telecommunications functions.”

— Lee Rainwater, Raven Aerostar

They have been flying these High-Altitude Balloons on both coasts of the United States, mainly in areas usually associated with military training and testing. There is a good chance they can launch a swarm of unmanned aircraft...

But I prefer aliens or ancient underwater civilizations...

Given the relative size of the observed objects (comparable to a school bus, as stated) and the speed (up to 70MPH), it should be possible to calculate, at least roughly, the propulsion power requirement of these objects (although the math required is beyond my current abilities).

Combined with other observed characteristics, it would then be possible to speculate as to possible sources of propulsion, as comparable to known technologies.

We might then be able to posit a more educated guess as to the origin of these things.

Worse yet, what does it say about me, when my intention was humor!

There was a study done like this based on the tic tacs wich provided impressive numbers , way past what we could achieve with the current "public" technology.

Forgot the name of the organisation trying to find it on google , i am sure others here have read that study.

Maybe as crazy as their equivalent of sheep finding out there's civilisation on dry land more advanced than they are.

Let's call them "shrimp".

There are reports, that so many prescriptions are being flushed down
toilets, that some people are now getting 'high' from even the very
low concentrations of them.

Perhaps that's why our proposed acquatic-overlords act so erratically..
perhaps all of our waste products have made them stoned.

(meant mostly has humor).
