Move your thumb in the space between his thumb and palm and show the guy what pain means by first putting tension on your thumb fingernail down and then stretch it over in a snapping motion. Will not do permanent damage but it hurts like hell and no grabbing things the next minute.

I did it once, the reaction was kind of "ouch! why..." and my reaction was "was about to say the same!". Got gentle shakes after that

Not about fighting or violence at all in the first sense

I understand the angle you are coming from, wasn't clear enough then with my generalized usage of "alpha male". It's not about beating up other guys, no no. Not even physical strength or intimidating.

Real strength comes from inside. Someone said "yes honey-sayer" in combination with the softie term. Someone that won't voice their opinion honestly in fear of rejection. A bend over "no it's okay"(but it isn't) type

Someone that speaks up to a physical more intimidating man is alpha. Violence is dumb and archaic, what you described is a cave men for me, not alpha

Men in suits that look after themselves are not metrosexual. Simply being tidy and looking after oneself is not the definition metrosexual.

If it's that what irks you.

In all seriousness, I grew up with the ideal male attitude and aspect of that of James Bond (Sean Connery).

I like this topic as it’s one I think of often. So here goes to give you answers / context.

First off, you forgot about the new title - Sigma Male.

www.urbandictionary.com...

For me, I balance between a sigma and alpha (there is no beta in me). The alpha side is more generous to others. The sigma, more generous to myself. I’m honestly happier in the alpha side, as we are pack animals.

For further context (and if you understand this sort of thing — which is a real thing) I’m a double Scorpio with a moon in Leo….. 🦂 🦂 🦁

Labels are so 1990's

The best kind of man is flexible and adaptable, comfortable in their own skin and whatever situation they are put in.

Like Professor Harry Callahan said and I quote "A man has got to know his limitations"

I don't know beta, alpha or sigma.

My wife wanted to be like Audrey Hepburn and I always wanted to be James Bond.

Well, the logos for my company are Tiffany Blue, fuchsia and purple.

So there’s the ‘metrosexual’ in me.

Labels really are BS. But I’m in agreement with the OP. Far too many betas these days.

Which explains the decrease is size of gonads in men the last 30 years.

LMAO, my wife was out yesterday and I was sitting around bored and decided to watch Magnum Force for the 25th time, I have the whole Dirty Harry collection.

As for the OP, I attribute the rise in feminine men to the hard left turn of Liberalism in the last 20-25 years.
I have never seen so many screeching Liberal women berating men in my life, it’s very emasculating for them and it appears that they cannot cope with it.
Having said that, I consider myself to be in the middle of the spectrum.
I have run away, arms flailing from trouble on occasion and I have also stood my ground and watched others run away with flailing arms.

Geez, why wouldn't someone want to be with an arrogant, self-involved, self-centered, manipulative, bullying, b'tard?

We grew up watching Eastwood in his Sergio Leone pictures, Hign em High, A Fist Full of Dollars, And for a few dollars more, and the Good the Bad and the Ugly were always on the Drive-In and we all go in our station wagon and watch double and triple features. We saw every Dirty Harry movie when it came out, in the theater LOL the first one I was 6 years old.

It was Clint Eastwood, Sean Connery, Burt Reynolds as the contemporary white male stereotypes, with the ideal one probably the best parts of all 3.

That said It seems like it a much more complex dynamics going on here than genetics or the environment there are likely dozens of factors, but yes one word would best describe it as confident.

Please point out the words that hurt your feelz so we can talk about it.

So did you identify with the softie, the metrosexual or the, what we now know is really an omega mail? To avoid you getting triggered again, you can just say the number. Top would be 1, omega would be 3.

Hate labels too, but needed to start somewhere, to define the domain we speak about.

And I agree, there is no 100% this or that man or woman, but general tendencies. Wow would life be boring if it was just like 6 types of people.

Do you subscribe to the traditional color roles society came up with?

Not sure why some think pink is a girly color just because someone decided that blue is boys and pink is girls and it became a trend or similar. Proves how such concepts burn in once established.
