The majority of
Western countries have lived or soon lived the fascist mandates, the US will soon no doubt or they’re going to look rather
Stupid

Say you’ll pay the fine and don’t

Or go to jail for a day and sue at a later date

Choice is yours

I know a lawyer. Going down that route against police will most probably turn my one day stance, into at least a week long stance.

If it's like you say and you don't mind, what's the problem?

And if the law is wear the mask, we'll, wear it when you go in and when you leave, take it off like the rest of us.

Are you above the law?

Everyone is above the law. Law is what the ruling class says. Law is not alive. Law is not moral. Jesus broke the laws of jews on every occasion because "their father was from bellow" and their laws BS

Yes exactly my point you are aware that this attitude made hitler rise to power totaly legal.
When does the law become unlawful?

you did not rat out your jew neighbours, are you above the law, and just like that the weasels become the ruling class..

Yeah it's going to be nice. I pick you up in my car, you will navigate and take me out to my fav. restaurant, on our way back to the car we notice it's on fire.

You are about to call the cops when I pull out two marshmallows that we roast over the fire instead. We warm ourselves, you lean in for a kiss, I chloroform you, take your purse, car wasn't even mine.

I keep thinking this is a thought experiment to see if people would really believe you were going to jail for really not wearing a mask. Waiting for the big reveal…..

Are we already this far into dystopia?

Yeah he should rot in jail, he probably killed a couple thousand because of his 2min visit in a bakery.

Already got your rotten tomatoes?

Law is law and he takes the consequences, what is your problem?

In one day? That's fairly rapid decomposition.

However, no matter how trivial you may naively think his actions were to him or his life, his actions have potentially deadly consequences. That is why responsible authorities are taking the stance with such seriousness.

906,727 people in the US have died, with their deaths attributed to this disease, already. In Switzerland, it is 12,824 people.

If you pay the fine, it doesn't go on your record.

and, was it worth it?

You do realize that people have died from the disease.

This is way beyond a disease now and if it had a kill rate like ebola you might have a point, but it doesn't.

This tyranny pure and simple. Weeding out the non compliant while the compliant pound their chests in honour of their virtue signally. This is becoming like a past event we are not allowed to reference but were taught about in school to prepare us to fight tyranny.

Take the jail to op, it doesn't add to their coffers. I'll likely be doing the same in time.

80,000 people died of the flu in 2018, why weren't you people pushing for vaccine and mask mandates then? Political agenda much?

What would make you stop thinking that?

I would have to work 10h to pay the fine. I have time but I have no money.
They get nothing from me and their #y games don't work on me, I don't comply. This whole mess is because we comply to often for little things like a mask when authority threatens us.

Talk about dystopia.
Switzerland is weird, they really want that #.

You are aware that we had a vote to add new laws specially drafted for this pandemic so it would make certain things lawfull.
The majority voted in favour.

I know, that's why I said he should rot in jail, /sarc end

Yeah death shame him. I like it how you read from the OP that it was intentional. I bet you didn't gave him the benefit of doubt that he only learned afterwards about their stern policies and could have been thoughtless walking in without one.

It's not clear from the OP and the fact that he faces jail should even it out, no? That's what the law tells is the punishment. Even if he thinks it's stupid law, he plans to do it.

What are you complaining about? How long would you say it's acceptable to shun him about it?
