Where is the single tail ? , and the shape of the wings doesn't match , and there is plenty of hangar at Area 51 and for a Gripen it will stand in front of the more isolated and surely secure of the base ? It is a strange story no ? There is no difference color of a cockpit too.

No it is not strange at all, it is parked on a very isolated part of the base far from the main base. So if it is a foreign jet with eventually foreign air crew (for the reasons mentioned previously), it does actually makes sense. That way they could easily comes from the JANET terminal and directly goes to the isolated hangar, making them even less likely to be exposed to something else.
And due to their position they can easily and rapidly access the runway.

But it seems you definitely want it to be a black aircraft despite a lot of facts proving that it wouldn’t make any sense. But you believe what you want, if you want it to be a B-21 (a very tiny one lol), a UAV companion or whatever, that’s fine for me.

Because it was convenient, didn’t have anything in it, or they wanted to. Black projects are black for a reason. They aren’t supposed to be seen, and seeing one sitting on the ramp doesn’t prove anything. It could be inflatable. It could be wooden. It could be painted on the roof of a shelter.

I would say its quite clearly a painted fake airplane on a solid cover/tent covering the actual airplane that probably looks completely different. Even the perspective is IMO looking wonky.

However I really fail to see the point of doing such a thing, lol. I mean, its not exactly covert. If regular satellites has the resolution to see this, military satellites can see it even better. Why not just a plain tent?

ready for this on.

if that was a clear top what ever is under it wouldnt be in shadow

there is deep shadow under the canopy, if the top was really clear there would be no shadow or deep shadows

Because engineers have a warped sense of humor. They knew exactly what was going to happen when it was seen, and wanted to giggle watching the internet go up in flames.

You are surely right
If it is the explanation we are sure that there is something under the shelter what ever it is. We just have the size with the shelter size thats all.

No one flies the Draken. There’s a COMPANY named Draken that flies for the Air Force.

cigeography.blogspot.com... There is no Saab Draken in the fleet

No one flies the Draken anymore. The Test Pilot School flew them until 2009. The last military to fly them was Austria, who retired them in 2005. The only surviving Drakens are on display. The only "Draken" left flying is the company.

So it is impossible to be a Saab Draken on the ramp of Area51

It’s not a Draken, unless they kept one for display.

Just an update.

A cheesy YT video. I don't agree, but they feel in the the video that the aircraft is the size of an F-15.
Possibly a replacement for the F-35 becuase the f-35 has 9 Critical issues that seems money can't fix.
All still theories.
Cute vid put out April 15 2022.

The F-35 isn’t being replaced. The AF has been working with SAAB on in flight refueling testing and other things, to certify and upgrade the aircraft.

Figured that much on the F-35.
When you guys kept saying DRAKEN I was getting a little confused. I thought it was a company like ATAC.

I remembered these old pics from an old thread.

Thanks.
