Please list US hypersonic missile systems that are on alert in the US.

There has been one flying for years at a time, at more than 10x the speed of russian 'hypersonics', with pinpoint accuracy.

And we've been doing it EVERY SINGLE DAY for nearly 15 years.

Look and wave right now, probably over moscow at this very minute.

But that is just the one that is publicly known.

Much more that I can't discuss.

But suggest you would have to be the world's biggest idiot to think that we stopped once the first demonstrator was so successful.

Have you seen our defense budget?

Funny.

I hope the russian military isn't dumb enough to actually believe any of that nonsense.

They might be, since they appear to believe that sneaking zircon near U.S. coasts is the best use of any functional hypersonic missile.

That's beyond dumb.

The United States still cannot achieve even the separation of a hypersonic missile from a carrier.

We did this with the X-43. In 2004. If you think no progress has been made in the last eighteen years I've a bridge to sell you. In fact, I'll give you a clue. We did even better with the X-51. In 2010.

And, to add onto that, those were powered vehicles, unlike the glider that Avangard is.

russians are in for a BIG surprise if they are ever dumb enough to start a war with us.

In the first hour.

Same for ccp.

Even X51 is very old news for us, and decades (at least) out of their reach.

The "Belgium Triangle" was spotted over 30 years ago, you couldnt comprehend where that tech is now.

Hypersonic? Sounds cute.

I bet there is some shady technology out there that can detect and pinpoint the smallest types of radioactive material.
So every nuclear machine and bomb appear on a map, right ?

Hopefully the Russians deploy their aircraft carrier to the western Atlantic. When the Sovietski Smokski shows up it will strike terror into the hearts of people who don't like smoke-belching decrepitude.

I like the commie propaganda route. I really liked the USA 1980's propaganda from back in the day, see link

Honestly, if it could make the Atlantic transit without suffering a catastrophic breakdown along the way or need to be towed back home I would be impressed and ever so slightly concerned about Russian naval power.

We'll see a Chinese carrier group off the Pacific coast before that ever happens though... And that's probably five to ten years away.

Humor, not propaganda, but thanks for posting that, I had forgotten how funny Wendy's used to be.

Everyone remembers 'where's the beef', but they really had a long run of funny & successful commercials back then.

Sure do but why would that article even be written up as it was in a Russian news web site and written in Russian. So Putin to Pawn Ukraine and USA to Bishop Ukraine and Putin Missile to New York City?

I just see it as the same ole song and dance.

I was in grade school...when Kennedy was Prez...and down the line with all the rest.
Always the same.

In school...we watched Kruscheiv bang his shoe on the table telling us "We will BURY you(with Nukes)".

The status quo...subs and satts, covert, overt ops...nothing new...has been maintained.***

Putin? Remember kids...he was/is KGB...🤨..and Subs and U2's are still out there...always

Let them send their carrier. We'll just sink the tugboats. Simple mission kill.

Bit of an issue with that, the clunker is stuck in drydock getting repaired once again.
