I'd be curios to know what Kneel's Spotify empire translated to in $. Did he show how strong his authoritarian stance is by giving up millions, or did he just give up $57 a month?

I heard that if he actually owned the rights to the vast majority of his music, then yeah he would of been losing some $.

But since he doesn't own a lot of his stuff, its probably closer the to $57 a month

My friend is in talent management and he said it's typically less than a penny per play and it would also depend on how much of his music he owned and in what proportions.

I was curios to see what his convictions were worth. It just doesn't seem fair that he can't silence anyone he wishes. It's like they don't realize who he is. He is Kneel Young damnit! you hear me southern man?

Wow crazy. It is all about the rights though. My ex husband used to make music that was picked up by TV shows or commercials. Because he owned all the rights it paid 5 dollars per 30 seconds used any time it was shown in any country. Just had to register it through BMI and quarterly checks are automatically sent.

He'll be fine! I'm SURE the woke crowd will step up and support him with album sales.
