Doesn't matter.
One should never enter a battle or a debate without being prepared.
And always study the "Art of War: first in either case .

“Let your plans be dark and impenetrable as night, and when you move, fall like a thunderbolt.”
― Sun Tzu, The Art of War

That's smashing but Sun Tzu did not have more guns to contend with than people nether.

And never really envisaged the problems we face in todays world anymore than the dudes that wrote the Bible did or for that matter your founding fathers that came up with your constitution and amendment rights.

Like i said different strokes for different folks.

I came back to to see if you were still falteri9ng.
Look , you left yourself wide open for a "coup d'etat"with the line :
"Read mine, and realise im Scottish"
So , you have forgotten the history of Scotland .
I am in a good mood , so I took the lesser of the two .
Be thankful .

Im thankful there are not more guns on our streets than people if that helps.

As to the history of my nation, im perfectly aware, same as im aware who helped shape and build your own.

Fact of the matter, its no longer the 1700s Gothmog.

The world spins, technology, demographics, and situations change, and so should our laws to accommodate such.

As to mood, im a happy bunny rabbit myself today, thankful as ever.

Everyone is aware of the history of Scotland due to that Mel Gibson documentary.

Now you are just flailing and failing hoping something will stick .
Again, in a country this size , your "rule of law doesn't work well here and never will .
I have always had firearms since 5 years old.
And I am not talking about BB guns .
And to sum up , and go back to PC gaming :
I had rather have something and never need it , than to need something and never have it .

Now , GOTH OUT .

Naw mate now your just trying to use history as an excuse for your nations fascination with guns and murder in this day of age.

As to our rule of law working in the USA, why would it? LoL

Did you miss the part where i stated "different strokes for different folks"?

As to your justification for owning guns, that's nice, thing is freedom and security are not exactly synonymous with one another, and that's a fact.

And to sum up, away you go and learn some manners, sounds like you need some of those.

Have a nice day. x

MIM? Maybe you missed my comment awhile back....where a lady killed her roommate ..with a Crock-Pot.

Never believe it's weapons...the "human" tendancy and propensity to violence ...is the real weapon.

Nope. I've only shot a gun for fun - target shooting, skeet shooting. I prefer golf.

Don't need them for protection IMO.

Never shot a gun.
Would never protect myself.

LOL

Sounds more honest than the stoopid boating accident story you hear so often.

I would have to agree with you.... but then I had my own boating accident, and against all common sense, I just happened to have all of my many guns in the boat when it happened.
I don't even have a boat. Weird, huh?

I've been "farming" since I was 18....It would take you several trips back and forth to your vehicle to carry all my "farm implements" away. lol

I just came across all of my late husband's water pistols, does
that count? I had to hide some from him and he had some hidden
away as well. I was just glad when he would point it at me he
didn't fill the water chamber first. He did soak me a time or two.

No.

Never have owned one.

Never have felt the need to own one.

But then, I don't hang around the kind of people people who feel they need a gun to be "safe".

In Japan we can have guns, but not like America . In my area farmers have guns to shot wild pigs and bears. It is not uncommon to see a farmer with a gun in his truck . Although guns are mostly unavaible here for us , the farmers can have them.

Yes, I do, several. Especially here in the US with the 2020 riots, and the Covid 19 power grabs, there are record gun sales across the board here. A lot of people who may claim otherwise publicly own a gun now.

Same to similar routine here in the UK.

Farmers/game wardens use them for pest control purpose.

The rule of law is supposed to protect you and your family.

Cant see much point in having those if you also require military grade hardware to get through the day and night.

You don't. The 2nd Amendment here is to provide a last ditch protection against the rise of tyranny. It's not for self defense, nor hunting. Something a lot of people don't get.

Before you say "OMG how crazy," the 20th century is chock full of insane tyranny and democide from Europe to Asia. I'm pretty sure a lot of Holocaust victims, or Russian/Chinese gulag internees wish they hadn't been disarmed..
