There's nothing about this shot that's normal.

When I got mine, I treated it like I do my choice on whether or not I get a flu shot every year, but it's clearly become a political or even religious experience to far too many.

you know how they say the flu shot is only 50% effective because they never know which flu A or B its gonna be from year to year?

Why dont they just give people the vax for both A and B?

Mass formation psychosis is too strong a phrase to use - Or is it?

I'd say it's not strong enough. Too clinical, to clean.

The flu is way more strains than that. There are multiple strains of Type A flu and Type B flu and then there are other types of flu. What they do is try to guess which strains will be the dominant ones, and they usually pick one A strain and one B strain with a third strain thrown in.

Some years they completely get it wrong, and some years they guess right but the strains mutate enough by the time they spread that the vaccine strain is an imperfect match giving only partial protection.

So "companies all over the world" are getting a piece, and that means there's no real incentive? As it is Pfizer is making a killing, no need to be the only game in town -

and 14263- you are certainly not alone! Most of us wanted to believe returning to normal was as easy a shot in the arm- then two- then three.
Early on there was a lot of mental back-and-forth in our household. Having lung disease made the vaccine a poor choice for me, since one of the side effects is difficulty breathing. I'm a tough old bird, even though the doctors have listed my health as 'fragile' for over a decade, so when the news of Covid broke on December 30, 2019 I quit leaving the house. By March it was in our area, so my hubby took early retirement- not the original plan at all.
It was back-and-forth on him vaccinating for a long time. He only goes to town every couple of months to see his elderly mother- and visits outdoors since she doesn't believe in using hand sanitizer, wearing a mask, avoiding crowds, staying home or social distancing; she's vaxed, so she can't get covid.
Seeing the vaccinated can still get covid, no matter how mild, made the vaccine pointless in our situation. We are very fortunate to be in a position to be able to lock down; had this happened years ago I would have taken the vax under duress in order to continue working. Without both incomes we would have lost everything, and who wants to lose your everything you've worked for? I would have rolled the dice.
I have family and friends in the health care industry; only one is for the vaccine. She believes the rhetoric, and is even more convinced since she works in Seattle proper, seeing a multitude of patients daily, and hasn't gotten covid. Yea vaccine! The thing is, she has type O blood; data shows those with that blood type are the least likely to get covid, and if they do it's usually a much milder case.
I'm also fortunate that my youngest daughter lives 30 miles away. Every week, without fail, she does our grocery shopping and stays to visit- outside, at a distance, rain, snow or shine. She's not only earned her wings, I'm pretty sure they come with one of the brightest halos available.
My heart hurts for all the people not as fortunate as us; the ones who have to keep working, or face loosing it all, the single parents that are backed in a corner and all the people- especially the kids- who have been harmed by the vaccine.
Nobody should be feeling guilty for taking the vaccine, and nobody should feel guilty for refusing to take it. We're all between a rock and a hard spot. I just want it to go away so I can go out for a nice dinner again some day. lol

(Note here that for the first time in the last 5 years I resorted to Google, not something I ever relied upon).

Now, there's a vaccine side effect I wasn't aware of. Definitely not taking the shot now.

When they allowed me a few weeks of freedom and then yanked the rug out from under me and took it away trying to blame those without the vaccine I was done.

The bargain was that I played along for my life back. They violated it. They don't get to yank the football again.

I just want to say this is one of the better OPs on Covid.

We are all human. It's hard to know what to think in these times. The amount of disinformation is astounding.

We saw China spraying every road dressed up from top to bottom in protective gear. Man that was scary.
We saw people half dead waiting to get in the the hospitals. We knew friends, neighbors and family that got sick and died.

Then we were told just take this vax and you'll be totally protected. Then again, then again, then again.
I've seen so many people that now say they will take no more. Maybe this is a good thing. Part of me also wonders if something worse comes out are we all screwed because they cried wolf too many times. 💊💉🩸

It is still risk v. reward. If people are literally falling over dead in the streets, then the equation changes.

So what are you saying here? The vaccines are killing everyone and Pfizer makes more money if they don't work? Pfizer is making a killing no matter what, right?

I stopped questioning and only looked for comfort.

Its completely understandable mate , Most people did the exact same thing .

They just wanted to Trust the Government and Get on with there Lives , Most people have Jobs , Families and a host of responsibilities that vex them on a daily basis.

Who has time to actually question the narrative it's just to stressful.

Why do you say that? Or how is it different than getting a flu shot every year which it will most likely turn into. But, I wanted to prim my system because COVID was something unknown how bad it could be for me. Come forward a year plus and I'm good with my initial vaccine. Its all a choice right? Well a choice when Congress gets slapped soon and Biden is done.

I wouldn't feel too bad about it. You are leaps and bounds ahead of most people - you are aware of it. You reacted to the situation the only reasonable way you could.

Its like refusing to eat a particular food. You can resist it an entire lifetime if you want to. Unless that one food happens to be the only edible thing available. Then you would be surprised how many people suddenly discover how much they actually like it. Or at least are willing to tolerate it. Survival trumps distaste every time.

They might indeed have a big book on who has not got jabbed, simply because they think the non-compliant will be a small number of people and they will cause the most problems for them. But The reality is that the pissed-off vaccinated who have lost loved ones will be the ones that will be coming for them. If it is a cherished child the downside is the basic reality. The reality was not given much thought when the risk managers went ahead with this experiment, never before tried with massive unknowns.

Well one side is not just 1 or 2 big pharma, its companies all over the world doing the same thing with mRNA, so unless they are all working together, 10,000s of people working hard to make the vaccines etc etc then the vaccines are not made to get you.

How many CEOs does it take to run a company? One.

We have Pfizer, Moderna, Johnson & Johnson, and a couple others. All of them have a single CEO. All of those CEOs want to make as much money as possible to bring in those massive bonuses. So you're saying that a handful of people all interested in selling as much product as possible as quickly as possible couldn't possibly join together to sell as much of their common product as quickly as possible?

Have you been drinking?

On the other hand you have individuals out to make money with their videos, so where is the incentive to make money?

Those videos are scrubbed continuously from every social media outlet, and if one does make it through, it is demonetized. A doctor who even advises against the vaccines is threatened with their AMA license to practice medicine. Even people who post videos on subjects that are not opposed by the social media giants can't make any more than a pittance now. How exactly are these people making anything by getting their social media accounts banned and their licenses revoked?

That is the single most absurd argument I have heard to date, and let me tell you, i have heard some real doozies on here! The unlikely likelihood that some guy is making $10 off a video is more incentive than a group of pharmaceutical CEOs making literally billions from pushing a product whether it works or not, and then more by making it a regular consumable instead of a one-time purchase?

I take it back... even 'shine can't lead to that kind of delusion!

Fair enough and good answer, someone that knows more about virology, I have forgotten most of what I learned though that was far from expert level stuff.

Still I wish we had Stockers vaccine.
www.dw.com...
More easily modified, simpler and does not use mRNA technology which was never intended for Vaccine use and the use of which for such as upset the man whom invented the technology in the first place whom even got banned from social media for voicing his concerns and what HE knows.

Though Professor Stoker is being or was being persecuted for his straight to use approach I suspect it is also far safer than the mRNA technology.

So long as it was not being LACED with crap like the mRNA injections have been such as heavy metals, graphene nano particles etc I believe his would be preferable to the bulk of us that do not want to be used as human guinea pig's AND do not want that crap lacing the mRNA jabs in our body's or the headaches and other symptoms that are probably due to micro clotting blocking blood vessels in the brain and organs causing possibly irreparable harm to us that have been reported by so many recipients of the mRNA jab's.
