Guilty of felony murder with a firearm.....? With a camera?

I didn't watch very much of the trial but it was apparently determined that his vehicle helped to confine Arbery, limiting the possibility of him escaping the situation.

After the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) took over the case in the summer of 2020, Bryan was accused of trying to confine and detain Arbery with his vehicle.

Bryan tried to maintain that he was simply a witness, but he was arrested on the grounds of falsely imprisoning Arbery which resulted in his death.

If I recal, his vehicle contacted him.

Wasn't it his video that got them arrested in the first place? If I remember correctly, I think it was about a month or so before they were even arrested, and because of that video.

I get it.

Simply pointing out that it's not exactly justice.

Good.
Justice served.

You can't just shoot someone trying to walk to their home, in their own neighborhood, because of the way they look.

You are probably correct. At first, it was "nothing to see here"

All of my law experience comes from TV shows and movies, but I'm pretty sure that the confinement is a felony, and if someone gets killed while a group of people are committing felonys, then they are all responsible for that death. regardless of whether or not you pulled the trigger.

Yes and the prosecutor was arrested for misconduct as she knew Greg McMichael and declined to prosecute and protect him. Which is why when the video came out it went to the GBI and she ended up being charged.

As I said, I get jt.

What I don't get is a felony murder charge with a firearm when there was no firearm in his possession.

Yeah, I'm sure she thinks so too. Maybe her and her vigilante pals can bake each other cakes with files in them.

No big surprise here.
Chase a man down and kill him.
That's murder.

"The three White men who chased and murdered Ahmaud Arbery were sentenced to life in prison Friday in a south Georgia courthouse for the 25-year-old's murder in 2020."

The court system has been getting a lot of them right lately.

www.cnn.com...

Three of them didn't chase him down and kill him. One guy recorded it in case something happened and ended up getting life in prison for it. The one with the shotgun didn't shoot until Armory tried to wrestle the shotgun from him. They were overcharged and over-sentenced, but the justice system had to make Sharpton, Jackson, and the like happy by condemning the white men to the fullest.

From what I had heard one of them was there just taking pictures. I didn’t think he would get life.

Oh ya, prosecutor have NEVER been biased towards police, never happens, nope!

How about Kim Fox?

I'm not necessarily saying I agree with it in all circumstances, but I kinda get it. It'd be like if you put someone in a box, and then I shot them. You confined them, which made it easier for me to kill them, so you are partly guilty for my actions.

Well, this is a prime example of why you shouldn't pay attention to the mainstream media... He wasn't walking, he was several miles from his neighborhood, and they chased after him because he was snooping around in someone else's house and there had been a rash of robberies in the area recently. Everyone involved made poor decisions, including the ever-so young black kid who was working towards becoming a master engineer for NASA and an astronaut.

Now if only that would apply to everyone instead of just a certain race.
