That would be why I haven't had Covid then, I take 2 allergy pills, a nasal spray, and eye drops. However if Covid is allergies, I've been dealing with Covid my entire life lol.

I'm not cancelling my New Years eve celebration We are going to do the same thing we have done for the last ten years, sit at home and watch movies after a nice supper on New Years Eve.

We aren't having fish on new years eve this year, the daughter and her husband are coming over New Years Day and we are having Whitefish, sockeye salmon, and boiled shrimp along with homemade fries and some homemade coleslaw. So the cancelation of Friday Fish is a change I suppose. Will it make Fauci happy that we are not doing our usual Friday thing?.

Fauci can suck it. We haven’t gotten a straight answer from the FDA or the NIH since this thing began. If the truth were known, the US probably should have dropped a nuc on China.

Last year in South Africa we had just gone into another lock-down with a complete ban on the sale and transportation of alcohol just following Christmas.

I recall our police chief, Minister Cele, gave a televised speech saying we should be in bed by 21:00, whilst President Ramaphosa gave a speech saying at midnight we should light a candle for the Covid victims.

This concerned me a bit, since it suggested that people should go to bed at 9, and then light a candle in the sheets at 12.
By my experience candles - or even smoking and beds - are a flammable mix.
Yip, beds will be burning indeed!
But luckily it seemed nobody was watching.

This year we still have a midnight curfew, so I'm probably walking to the pub, which closes at 9, and once home I'm going to have a bottle of bubbly with my mom.
(And then party at ATS of course).

Well, at my age I've actually been doing that for a few years, even before Covid.

Dr Fauci should be canceled . He gave millions of dollars to the wuhan lab to do gain of function testing and then fought like hell to trick us all into believing it didn’t come from wuhan . He created this disease with the help of our government and the Chinese government . What’s the penalty for creating a disease in a lab by doing unethical things and letting it loose on the public ? What’s the penalty for killing millions of people and stripping all of our freedoms like they never have been stripped before and damn that is saying something. Boy this is rich , do you really think the USA government is not in charge of dr Fauci and what info he gives to the Chinese . The same people in charge of China are in charge of the USA that are in charge of Fauci They are all on a team . Us commoners are on the other team . I don't know about video, but it's all over the press.

He clearly told the governors they're on their own with federal aid. So it's every state for itself.

Truthfully, this is how the US was always meant to operate anyhow. It's the federalist system. Each state should have been mostly left to deal with things on its own with federal backing and support as needed. The US is large country with vastly different regions and needs. What works and may be appropriate for one state will not be useful to another.
