the wage of sin is death…..

God hates death and death will be the last enemy put under his feet….

God calls death an enemy…

sin entered the world through adam and death through sin….

The reasons for this are concealed in the heavenly places and will only be revealed to those who faithfully seek wisdom.

The ways of the angels in the spiritual realm are well beyond our little minds…

you like to say things like “if God were so great why did he let any of this happen?”

it is an over simplification…..

It is recorded seeing Apostle Peter running out of a public bath house saying he saw the magician Simon of Samaria taking a bath inside and he was worried the ceiling and walls might collapse because Simon the Magi was a popular antichrist preaching he was Christ.

Why would the Father send His Son to be sacrificed for our sins when we are capable of understanding what sin is and how not to sin ?

How did sacrificing animals to God help us understand sin and how not to be sinners and how does that apply to Christ's sacrifice. In other words how does a sinner understand how not to be a sinner through sacrifice whether it be an animal or Christ ? In order to enter Heaven you must be free of sin not forgiven for your sins. If in your heart you are still a sinner then what good does forgiveness serve if you can't enter Heaven. God can't remove sin from you, only you can do that.

Christ truly is our saviour, He has come to destroy this world, all that it was and is.

How do you think your human brain can understand the ways of God, especially the ways of God in the old covenant?

an account from the old testament.

When God stayed Abrahams hand from sacrificing Isaac the Lord said “since you have not withheld your Son, your only son, whom you love, I know that you love me”

It was a picture of Jesus….

Since God did not withhold his beloved, only begotten son, but delivered him up for us all……we can know God loves us and can freely bless us with all things….

Thing is organised religions practice extends a hell of a lot further back into recorded history than the Abrahamic faiths.

Fact of the matter is its all about Sun worship at heart not Son worship.

These "gnostic books" you refer to were only rejected by the Council of Nicea, and I'd argue with you about the history of Roman Catholicism, Emperor Augustine and the Council of Nicea. As someone mentioned before, another dogma we get from the "PAGAN" Roman Catholicism is the sun worship of the god Sol, who's day of worship was on Sunday, where-by Augustine declared the Sabbath/Holy Day to be Sunday, not Saturday.

But that's off-topic, sorry.

Perhaps you can read the gospels for yourself and draw your own conclusion? What makes you personally believe the 66 books (and 4 gospels) of the bible over those INCLUDED with the gospels that were rejected specifically at the behest of the Council?

I feel like this is minimalism..We assume genesis is the beginning...What about God? I'd really like to recommend you the apocryphal of john, as the closest we get to understanding the nature and essence of God and the divine and how all came into existence.. You can keep an open mind obviously and blow it all off, but it's a light reading, you should be able to breeze through it in less than 30 minutes.

These are the questions posed by John to the pharisee':

How was the Savior designated?
Why did his Father send him into the world?
Who is his Father?
What kind of realm will we go to?

Where-by an image appeared before him later on in many forms, within pure light. It explained:

The One rules all. Nothing has authority over it. It is the God. It is Father of everything, Holy One The invisible one over everything. It is uncontaminated Pure light no eye can bear to look within. The One is the Invisible Spirit. It is not right to think of it as a God or as like God. It is more than just God. Nothing is above it. Nothing rules it. Since everything exists within it It does not exist within anything. Since it is not dependent on anything It is eternal. It is absolutely complete and so needs nothing. It is utterly perfect Light. The One is without boundaries Nothing exists outside of it to border it The One cannot be investigated Nothing exists apart from it to investigate it The One cannot be measured Nothing exists external to it to measure it The One cannot be seen For no one can envision it The One is eternal For it exists forever The One is inconceivable For no one can comprehend it The One is indescribable For no one can put any words to it. The One is infinite light Purity Holiness Stainless, The One is incomprehensible Perfectly free from corruption. Not “perfect” Not “blessed” Not “divine” But superior to such concepts. Neither physical nor unphysical Neither immense nor infinitesimal It is impossible to specify in quantity or quality For it is beyond knowledge. The One is not a being among other beings It is vastly superior But it is not “superior.” It is outside of realms of being and time For whatever is within realms of being was created And whatever is within time had time allotted to it The One receives nothing from anything. It simply apprehends itself in its own perfect light The One is majestic. The One is measureless majesty Chief of all Realms Producing all realms Light Producing light Life Producing life Blessedness Producing blessedness Knowledge Producing knowledge Good Producing goodness Mercy Producing mercy Generous Producing generosity [It does not “possess” these things.] It gives forth light beyond measure, beyond comprehension. [What can I say?] His realm is eternal, peaceful, silent, resting, before everything. He is the head of every realm sustaining each of them through goodness.

The following chapter explains the origin of reality, the primary and secondary structures of the divine mind, tertiary structure of the divine mind, and eventually our material reality.

these christian dogmas are taken too literal, and to tell any of the Christians that the story of Jesus has been told for 1,000's of years, you'd be dismissed as a heresy because "their god is better", when I don't think they or anyone for that matter can understand fully the extend of the divine to the point we are all silly for even attempting it. I think you have found a very important symbolism, to abstract creation of the material realm which is a mere prejection. nevertheless there is a projector and a canvas. Which is which and who am I in all of it, are the questions I'm not quite set yet.

or how God saved Noah's whole family when it was only Noah who was found righteous…

all examples of mercy, love and forgiveness.

just off the top of my head…….im sure someone deeper in their studies could do much better.

I’ve had the same thoughts, questions, and doubts as all of the naysayers here, because the god of this world blinds unbelievers, so I know where you’re coming from, but as the Bible says: if today you hear His voice harden not your heart; Seek and ye shall find. Knock and the door shall be opened; Humble yourself in the sight of the Lord and He will lift you up.

Glory to God.

If im understanding correctly, according to these gospels the God of the bible is the child of wisdom whom she tried to conceal…..this baby God took it upon himself to create creation…..

so baby God saw his creation was wicked and decided to flood the earth…..

baby God grew up, had a son and became wiser in His ways………devised the new covenant in order to save His creation because He loves us just that much……..

I made most of that up obviously but if any of it is true it does not change my faith or love for the Lord

it honestly makes the father feel more endearing and approachable in my mind…..

because God does indeed love in a reckless child like manner that we cant really understand.:…:.agape love

So you believe Christ and the god of the old testament are separate ?

God is a triune being…..

Father, Son, Holy Spirit…..

just like we are a triune being…..

Body, soul, spirit………

both one and seperate.

My point is where are the similarities in the god of the old Testament and Christ.

i suppose when God went out of his way and sent angels to convince lot to leave Sodom…..

or how God saved Noah's whole family when it was only Noah who was found righteous…

Or maybe when God rewarded joshua and caleb for their strong faith….

or maybe the way God described David as a man after His own heart despite Davids murder and lying and adultery….

all examples of mercy, love and forgiveness.

just off the top of my head…….im sure someone deeper in their studies could do much better.

Or when he allowed Job to be tortured by life to test his loyalties, very Christ like indeed.

For thousand of years God forgave us for our sins through animal sacrifice however one day God said these animal sacrifices are no longer acceptable.

Jesus, known as the sacrificial lamb, SON of God, The Word paid for all sin, an innocent man slain on the cross for anyone who accepts this sacrifice as payment for your personal sins. This grace is given to his disciples. No other religion offers this to mankind.

Our faith in the SON and accepting his sacrifice and resurrection as the LAST official sacrifice for attunement (Passover) for are sins, brings us to the Father.

GOD, who came in flesh and bone opens the door to the Father.

Christ truly is our savior……He came that we might have life, and have it more abundantly…..

he did not come to destroy the law, but to fulfill it…..

How do you connect Christs to the god of the old testament ?

Christ was with God before the beginning.

This on the surface is a good argument…….its so good that it is kind of a low hanging fruit……I first heard this opinion on South Park and it really messed with my head for awhile…

It turns out you have to humble yourself and dig deeper by prayer and reading more…..

Gods ways are mysterious…….

in hindsight our trials are either of our own making, or like in Jobs case a divine plan that cant be understood……..both trials will refine a person as they work for the greater good….

Job was restored and then some.

I know that when I am going through a trial and it feels like I am being punished or forsaken by God I can look to the story of Job and see that God is still close when he seems far and I will be vindicated if I keep my faith…

Even Jesus under his immense suffering cried out to his father seemingly for a sorrowful moment loosing sight of the greater plan…

The wager between God and satan ended with victory for the Lord, restoration and wisdom for Job, and a message that we are talking about right now.

why should no one suffer?

should the pot look to the potter and and ask why did you make me this way?
