This is not the government.

They in the US Army or the Salvation Army? Maybe they can have specially made religious uniforms too, or have guns that shoot holy water and communion wafers.

I may be wrong, but isnt the purpose of dogtags to identify the dead and the wounded, and that religion is an identifier when it comes to life and death matters for reasons such as rites and how the dead are interred?

The Catholic Church is...

...filled with perverts and pervert apologists. They shuffle the kiddie diddlers around and around so that the communities they move them to have no idea a sex offender is operating in their local congregation.

So either I want a religion burned to the ground or I am defending its political corruption? Wow.

That isn't what these are.

Or the tired trope that the Chinese are running the show here?

I'd hate to think the CCP spent al that money and wasn't smart enough to think they would get something in return.
Remember, those guys are really good at maths.

Not sure if you heard, but rumor is, that boy of Joey's may have financial ties to someone in China. No, really.

No, right now you're defending its institutionalized child abuse cover up problem. The Catholic Church made a conscious effort to move priests around for decades full knowing they had harmed children.

That doesn't mean they are running things here.

Vast majority of Christian, serving in the armed forces or otherwise, tend to wear a form of cross around their neck. That practice is still condoned and protected. This topic is moot.

no, but it also doesn't mean they have no influence. In fact, I believe that was the commodity Hunter has been selling for years.

In this case, it's a company making dog tags that aren't official ones but more of novelty items. Since these aren't part of the official military uniform, I will be interested to see how the lawsuit progresses and would love to see the Karen who filed the complaint show themselves to the world.

If these guys had the contract to make them for the military, and put scriptures' on THOSE, I would be totally with the stopping of that. This isn't that.

so, the backside of dogtags cant belong to the service person any longer?

because why?

Something about fear vs love.

Fear of complaints or getting sued vs love by providing comfort to a person making the ultimate sacrifice for country.

Should G.I. Joe be able to wear a pentagram on his cover? Or maybe a squiddy can wear Air Jordans while he's on duty station. It's a uniform, there are regulations.

The Catholic Church is explicitly mentioned in the Original Post. If someone wants to die on the hill of apologizing for that pile of **** institution that's on them.

My point exactly .

But their dog tags do not show under their uniforms, and cannot offend fellow soldiers or you.

And then the US Army says THIS is OK:

So, where is your outrage ?
Or is it only anti-Christian ?

Government is corrupt. Our communities are corrupt. Businesses are corrupt. Therefore we should burn it all down? That is the logic of an extremist. This is the kind of insanity I am speaking out against. We need to address issues, expose corruption and fix it. Not burn it all down.
