I wasn't given any experimental or emergency, newly created "vaccines." I would have refused this shot if I was requested/demanded to take it.

If they have a choice, why is it a big deal that they exercise it? It's common to discredit or devalue a person when they don't agree with our point of view. It's also very conceited.

Yep, this number is a lie. I know for a fact that one area of Camp Pendleton just lost 500 Marines due to this nonsense. I wonder whatever happened to the Commandant saying that marines didn't have to take the shot if they didn't want to. That 500 Marines figure was just one area of the base, I can't image how many across the Corps as a whole are leaving, but one thing for sure we'll never get real number for decades.

My first take on this post is: "Piss off"

Just because a person joins the military to defend their country, doesn't mean that they are mindless kill mongers. You know EMTs believe in doing their part, many of the people in the military are the same way.

Just because we are trained to kill, doesn't mean that we aren't also taught when not too. You probably know this though and were just trying to rattle a cage or two. Hey here's a question for you; "Doesn't it both you that a First Responder is going to be put in a position to not help a person in need because they didn't get a shot?"

I mean how the hell are you going to know when you pull up on a traffic accident that the poor person bleeding out on the street got the shot or not? Not for nothing but this whole Vaxx debate has to resemble the issue of the AIDS epidemic of the 80s to you guys on the street. I don't envy you.

it was a long time ago since I had that done, but at the time we were told what we were being given in those shots if we asked. These vaccines aren't as clear. I remember asking what was in the flu shot and refusing it to see what would happen back then. I didn't get the shot that's what happened, but when I did get sick, I was told to suck it up and carry on. I doubt the guys in the service get that choice today with the vaccine do they?

Tonite ..local hospitals full ..maxed out, workers too

Its been said almost all hospitalized patients are un-vax.

Military assist. provided to our major med centers ..#45 Med Corp.

Yes. Concerts. Parks. Movies. Weddings, Fests. Fairs. Masks mostly up in stores...no one seems bothered.

I am sensibly concerned as well...God bless, stay well.

This vaxx debate really does seem like how the AIDS epidemic was handled back in the 80s. How will a First Responder know if the person is "vaxx'ed" or not. I'm, sure it won't matter, but to members of city council looking for an election to be won it will. That will cause other people to worry as well. Will a person call for an ambulance if they aren't sure, it that service might have helped out a non-vaxx'ed person?

Your post led me to think about that, and that's value. Going forward I wonder how much of this vaxx'ed/nonvaxx'ed thing will be exploited by low thinkers to manipulate nonthinkers.

That's a bit harsh. Some soldiers have brains and have done their own research.

Here in Arizona, it's about 30%-36% of cops, firefighters and EMTs refusing the jab. A sizeable portion, whether Phoenix, MCSO or other suburbs.

They go out on emergency calls too for the entire pandemic. I guess with what they have seen with the vaccinated and adverse effects to the vaccine, they have chosen not to get the jab.

Not everyone with Covid calls a paramedic, even if they are gasping for air. And it's not the EMTs that they are afraid of, it's the hospitals. A lot of people don't trust the meds the hospitals give out. High death rates. Other countries with low death rates, like Japan, give out monoclonal antibodies. But in the U.S., seldom do the hospitals give antibodies as a treatment. Antibodies could have saved lives

I see soldiers refusing the jab as a different kind of bravery. So many times they are expected to give up their freedoms in order to protect the freedoms of U.S. citizens. By them refusing the jab, they are taking a stand to protect citizens by refusing to blindly follow orders which they feel are morally wrong. It's a different kind of bravery. They are opposed to the mandate.
