The Marine Corps said Thursday that it had discharged 103 Marines thus far, the Army has reprimanded more than 2,700 soldiers and will begin discharge proceedings in January and the Air Force announced earlier this week that 27 airmen had been discharged.

At least 30,000 service members are not yet vaccinated, but several thousand have been granted temporary or permanent medical or administrative exemptions and more than 12,000 have sought religious exemptions.

About 4,800 Army soldiers and Air Force airmen have refused the vaccine outright, without seeking an exemption.

The two reports dont seem to differ drastically. I would guess that getting booted for refusing the vaccine is easier and cheaper than buying out if you wanted out anyway.

I'm in a weird spot as an EMT near 35+ yrs.....we get rhem vax...many....and you call 911 when you're sick ...and we come to your house.

What's that say?

And our days are no different. I've been wearing masks for 35 yrs.

And you guys....when you're sick .. are gonna call us to come help you. And we will.

Speak for yourself. Our department of career fireman have said NO to their stupid vaxx/not vaxx, and us deplorables go to plenty of fully vaxxed people with COVID. So what do you say to that??

Now on to your next little remark, I think the guys refusing the jab are in the right. Fight enemies foreign and domestic right? I think we have a history of screwing over our military when it comes to this stuff. Agent Orange, syphillis, radiation, '___', and the list goes on and on with the A-holes is Washington using them as test subjects. You are on the wrong side and please stop using your EMT 6 week course as your credentials to being an expert on this crap.

I have 35 yrs of Paramedic and ER Med-20 yrs U of M Med Center.. and instruct in Advanced Life Support and I C.S....yiy know that right?

So ..that you are not confused...in my city, my state, on the International Border btwn Canada and the US, is how it is. I never said there were not those who are not following current( however crazy) attitudes

There are whole cities of P.D., Fire, ER Management...that are not like us

An estimated 97% of U.S. service members are currently vaccinated. That's about 40,000 who are unvaccinated.
