Yes, being wrong and acknowledging it does not make me a liar, thank you very much.

I agree with you.

This time.

I never have a problem with someone posting something unintentionally inaccurate, as long as they are willing to correct the record when presented with facts to the contrary.

Which you did here.

No apologies are necessary.

We ALL find ourselves in that situation occasionally.

Hopefully the start of a new trend.

Aaargh! We have an accord.

Much respect.

So you slander and make false accusations about someone without knowing any facts about the situation.

You're such a charming fellow.

It is funny that the left constantly take the Constitution and wipe their asses with it then hold it up covered in their own SH!T and say you all are breaking the Constitution!!!

How would you know?

"Slander"? How?

I accepted that I was wrong about the funding thing and corrected that.

It's a good thing to admit you're wrong, you really should try it sometime. It's good for the soul.

Now, do give it up, there's a good chap?

Good for you, you altered your false accusation, you didn't edit and add a statement to apologies for the false accusation
Just so I understand
1. make up a false accusation i.e. - lie
2. get called out on the false accusation i.e. - lie.
3. Alter the statement, lo and behold it means you never lied, and you're a hero.

Good to know how the mental gymnastics of anti-Trumpers works.

Be a good chap and accept the fact your first statement was false and changing it doesn't change the fact you made it.

I guess you missed where I admitted that I was wrong about DJT personally funding lawyers and where I admitted that I didn't know his campaign funded them?

I did not "lie", I was simply mistaken about this. Which I have accepted and readily admitted.

As Ghosts has kindly said, my post was "unintentionally inaccurate" and no apology needed.

Why can't you just accept this and move on?

As for me being a "charming fellow", you seem to be amply confirming your own complete lack of charm in your posts on here.

Now, move on and, please, do stop stalking me.

So being wrong is not lying.
Not bothering to verify your statement and making false accusations is not making up lies it is simply making up wrong things.

Why can't you admit that your original statement was a lie?
You're desperate to avoid admitting you lied to make a point.

I don't care how many times you say you "were wrong" and need a pat on the back for admitted it, looking for the admission you fabricated the truth ( lied ) then altered the statement to cover it up.

So will you admit
Oldcarpy2 lied about Trump?
rather than
Oldcarpy2 was wrong about Trump?

Don't drag me into this.

I did my part to make it a 'fair fight' but have zero interest in helping you avoid sleeping in the bed you made.

Nothing I can do about that, only you can repair your reputation.

But I will step in again if I think anyone is being overly unfair.

Depends if being wrong is about the lie you told.

Why the ad hominem?

Dragging you into this?

I just quoted from your own post where you agreed with me.

Oh well.

Normal service is resumed, apparently.

FFS,
Someone made a mistake then corrected it when pointed out and apologised.

Is that all people(?) have to make a big issue out of what with everything that is going on in the world at present?

No, just not going to get down in the weeds about something I had nothing to do with.

Nobody can help you with that, it's just something everyone has to do for themselves.

All I can do is help ensure a 'fair fight'.

I'm not interested in having a "fight" with a poster who evidently wants to pick one.

Show me where in the Constitution it says people should be allowed to own semi-automatic weapons. The concept didn't even exist back then.

See how dumb your comment was now?

Every rifle they had was semi-automatic you pulled the trigger and it fired. So yes id say the constitution covers that now if you meant automatic well they are banned because the constitution didn't cover them. You need to use a better example to make your point.

Then don't.

That would be my advice.

I was just walking by minding my own business when I saw something that looked like it might be unfair bullying, so I briefly stepped between you and the potential bully.

Did anyone else do that for you?

Folks on my 'side' are all free thinkers that don't take orders from anyone, so there really isn't anything else I can do for you.
