The House Select Committee to Investigate the Jan. 6 Attack on the Capitol on Thursday released slides from a PowerPoint calling for former President Trump to declare a national security emergency in order to delay the certification of the results of the 2020 election. The presentation, headlined was referred to in an email provided to the committee by Mark Meadows, the former White House chief of staff who’s had a rough couple of weeks, to say the least.

In the slide the Trump administration considered all options in nullifying the election and throwing the constitution out the window.

There are supposedly even messages between the administration and the insurrectionist leaders/organizers on how they planned to prevent certification.

Was the raid on the capital a way to impose a national emergency or martial law on the country, thus keeping Trump in power? It seems like they considered just that!

That's not how the United States Constitution works, it isn't a list of things you can do, it's primarily a list of the things the government can't do.

I see that different.

There was obviously rampant voting fraud happening, it's been caught on camera several times, witnesses exist. Machines were wiped prematurely with no valid excuse by people that adhere themselves to the democratic party openly.

The capital "insurrection" came afterwards. You calling this an "overturning" isn't honest and accurate.

Now, we agree on one thing, Trump should have worded his speech back then different. But if we on the other hand apply the same reasoning that US dem politicians called for violence that "should not stop", rioting, looting, arson should not stop. How cities would burn if Trump wins....All these things you ignore and seem to be okay with you.

It's no big deal if city blocks burn, illegal autonomous zones are erected, US dem politicians calling for ongoing violence live on TV. But if MSMs public enemy no 1 opens the mouth every word will be scrutinized.

On topic: Not that I believe any of this. The Marxists have already proven they will fabricate any lie they believe will keep them in power, but even if it's true, the executive branch of our government is granted certain powers in "emergency" situations. If they misuse those powers, they answer to congress and the senate. That plan wouldn't have had a snowballs chance in hell of working and that's why it stayed in the brainstorming stack instead of being used.

Maybe Biden and his cabal will pick it up and use a modified version of it so you'll have something to cheer about. Taking a dump on the constitution is their wet dream.
