It would depend on the width of the cars. A negligible difference when compared to TheRedneck’s solution. Also you need to state the assumption of the vehicles being centered within the lane. Without the car width and the car placement within the lane, your solution would be a range of solutions like 1.45 s < t < 1.49 s
