France on the Verge of Civil War

If the problem is with France's leadership, citizens unite and simply remove that leadership.

No need to tear the country apart with a civil war.

I really don't see this ending well.

If you think about it, the only violent actions against western governments have pretty much always been leftist. I am not sure what it would really take to get the "right" to be violent in any meaningful way. Right wing minds always seem to look for reasonable resolution before anything else. Can anyone tell me if there has ever even been a right wing common sense revolution with the exception of the first American revolution and in some ways the American civil war??

I’m English and I have to say that the French are tough cookies. Not much losing or surrendering under Napoleon - apart from the really important one. They are a tough, proud people.

Cannot help but think that we have been split and polarised quite deliberately. Right, left, vaxxed, anti-vax etc etc. Almost as if whatever move we make THEY will get the result they want. Civil War will occur around the globe, not only in France.

Many of the vexed are hostile towards the unvaxed due to information MSM vomits out on TV

Next year if you are not vaccinated you will not be allowed to enter public transportation, all government buildings, your work place, any commercial business including grocery stores. Etc...

I think you've misread the article starting with the headline. It's not an article about France, it's not an article by Eric Zemmour, it's an article about Eric Zemmour.

You've even misread the quote you copied. There's an ocean of difference between Zemmour's "something in common" and your 'about to crack', let alone between that and what's actually happening in France.

You basically answered your own question right here, just using different words. Allow me to reframe the same statement above a little different way.

The collapse of western culture is by design because this is where all the money is, all the money which hasn't been pillaged and stolen yet by the elites. This is why Western civilization (freedom) must be crushed...to get access to the vast 'un-mined' motherlodes of cash in 401k's, IRAs, pension funds and the like. This is where all the money is, and "freedom" allows it to exist, untapped by the money thieves.

I've been saying this same thing for a long time. If you step back and look at the larger picture from this perspective, it all makes sense. All these restrictions narrow the ways all that money can be spent, and narrow down the people who can be the benefactors of it. Think about it...health care, pharma, consumables, building materials, oil, taxes upon more taxes; taxes on every frigging thing (every component of every single thing you buy). They are systematically "mining" all that wealth. Then throw in some 'global warming / carbon credits' and countless other BS initiatives, designed to do nothing else but mine out all that middle class money.

A lot of people hear the phrase...'You will have nothing, and you will be happy'...and they don't really understand what it means. To them, it's just a saying about big bad Big Brother coming for them. The reality though is, the brutal truth is...the middle class must be crushed (i.e. 'you will have nothing'), and you will be just like everyone else in the soup line (i.e. 'and you will be happy') because the socialist playing field is now level (in their minds).

It's a cold hard truth, but it's coming, and it's coming faster than I expected it would. I was hoping I'd be 100 years old by the time it happened. Now I wonder if I'll even make it to retirement before it happens. It will have been a shame to work an entire lifetime only to have it all stolen and not being able to do a damn thing about it.

No. I understand the article is a book review, but forces at work as outlined therein are very real and very at work in the country of France, but they also describe similar issues taking place in the states too.

I know this much, in America, we're too polarized and I believe will actually lead to a balkanization of America, with widly swinging ideologies.

I believe it because California represents the best form of radicalization among the American peoples, despite having a chance at real change, they simply doubled down.
