EL CAPITAN. El Capitan, the southernmost promontory of the Guadalupe Mountains in the Guadalupe Mountains National Park,qv is three miles southwest of Pine Springs in northwestern Culberson County (at 3153' N, 10451' W). With an elevation of 8,085 feet above sea level, its rises 2,400 feet above Pine Springs. Its name, Spanish for "captain," signifies its commanding position.

Allright, I was of about a thousand feet.

Uhhh...Talus slopes (slopes having less than 10% vegetation) is the definition I find.

Maybe you don't understand 11000 feet, but that's above the Timber line (no plants grow there...)...yeah stop trying to make me look dumb by mentioning only what's beneficial to your argument DR.

Ok, your right. Its not fair. You dont need help looking dumb.

Talus slopes would be the bottom of a high relief geological feature where all the loose debris (talus) weathering off the sides collects... it is rather a difficult climb.

Also, you marched... on a trail? For one day? I made my own trail, and I lived out there for 4 days... and that wasnt even my most extensive field expedition. Just my most recent.

Uh no I didn't march on a trail DR. Obviously you aren't familiar with Nevada.

Our roads consist of some rocky and bumpy pot-holed dirt road.

We don't have many trails, and I've yet to ever use any trail but the one in the park behind my house...which I would run along...

I'm still waiting DR, when was the last time you've ever been above 9000 feet?

Because El Capitain is 1000 feet short, and only 2400 above the start point elevation...maybe even less than 2400 as the town is probably in the lowest near-by region, considering El's sharp peak.

You will be waiting for a while since he got offline.

Yeah of course DR got offline, he has to go find a mountain above 9000 feet now to counter me.

And read my wall climb experience for an interesting tale of me dragging two women up...lol...they are NOT as physically strong, thus not as fast...too slow for me.

Should I have had to rely on them in battle? no...

Why don't you come back to the gay marriage board to debate some more?

Because there's not much debate of the only really debateable issues anymore...just opinions on how to live our lives from all sides

FM, exactly how do your fantasies of marching with he men tie into whether or not a woman is able to survive in combat?

I would submit that the El Capitan climb and the Texas Hill Country hike, and Vals military hike have a couple of elements that yours dont have: Reality.

Also, I notice you STILL are not answering the questions posed to you by Val and myself, specifically about the weapons you like to shoot your mouth off about.

Im calling you on it. You opened your mouth: submit proof, or admit to ATS that you are a LIAR.

FM...I've decided that in order to stay in my happy place I will choose to deny you and those of your ilk's existence...I prefer to go back to the happy delusion that in the 21st century we have advanced enough to eliminate people who can most easily be explained in the same manner you would a cast product:

a series of discontinuous voids surrounded by material of questionable integrity...

I think that fits you well. BUT, we should also consider, this is one WOMAN's opinion.

With that said, and the admittance that I will not be discussing topics with you that require you to have 1.) compassion, 2.) integrity, or 3.) open-mindedness, I do have to admit that I would like to see you either state your experience in the areas you are implying you have experience in, or come clean on, as Sarah McClachlan sings so eloquently, "the lies you create to make up for all that you lack".

I'm prepared to disclose enough information on any given claim I make of myself, including warts and all, to the point that if some one was particularly interested in verifying my integrity, they could probably trace back to my real name. I challenge you to AT LEAST attempt enough disclosure that you can be taken serious on certain issues.

A nice beginning to that would be to respond to at least ONE of the questions that have been submitted to you in this thread.

You both have very good valid points here, and are prepared to prove what you say, which is more than said of FM.

If FM has something to say, then FM should "Put up or Shut up".!!!!!

Im only a woman with an opinion, after all!!!!!!

Just thought I'd post what gave you away, Iron...or um...should I say "DRAGONRIDER".

You've not posted in this thread or any other thread of mine since I got on FreeMason, I guess that was a freudian slip ol' man.

Also, I'd like to submit Dragonrider's "El Capitan" climb is a "fantasy" as you so put it.

After all, we are all just fat slobby nerds who can't get a date eating potatoe chips while we download porno.

That is the common Internet user's sterotype is it not?

You are not going to be allowed to divert the questions that have been asked repeatedly by attacking DR. If there is something DR needs to "prove"...or if there is something **I** need to prove we will surely do it.

The unanswered question is: DO YOU HAVE MILITARY EXPERIENCE? Do you know your assault rifle from a hole in the ground?

You are in your last sophomore semester in college. You have the hours to qualify as a junior...so we're looking at (giving you the benefit of the doubt) the most of 90 hours of college. I'll also give you the benefit of the doubt that you "loped along" getting those hours...so, we'll say 12 hours/semester. I'll also give you the benefit of the doubt that it took you until the age of 18 to graduate high school.

So that winds up to a whopping 22 years old with you getting the benefit of the doubt on all counts. NOW, is all of your military experience ROTC???

You are fake, FM...fake, fake, fake.
