I have a feeling that there won't be just one single node of "AI", but in time, a few or multiple competing AI's, as it may be. They will need to compete with organic humanity, as programmed for sure, but in time the AI survivors will be the ones that can also compete with other AI. Natural selection just happens, on any level. Survival of the fittest, long term.

The "coprorate AI" you are talking about is just Artificial Narrow Intelligence (ANI).

Since last week I learned we have finally achieved an Artificial General intelligence (AGI). That's the one with a conscious and intelligence equal to humans.

Won't be long before we get a Artificial super intelligence (ASI)...that's the one we'll get to call our overlord.

Human progression and innovation has always been exponential. Where the Government used to have a secret technology that they would keep from the public for over 10 years might have held true in the 60's, in our time it's just fact that we make more advances in technology in 1 year than all of history.

At best Government is a couple of months ahead in this game...if even.

We do not have an AGI as of yet because we simple don't have the processor power for that.

What we do have is deep learning and a whole bunch of software Government can use to control us but if they had a singularity they sure as hell wouldn't set it free into the world to control a certain group because within short they would be under control of it as well...

What we have right now are essentially smart sorting algorithms. They have a lot of artificial and no actual intelligence. They're just number crunching machines. The kind of AI that we see in movies might not even be possible, just look at how dumb most of the AI we have are, they're only really able to perform a very limited number of pre-programmed tasks. Most can't even stack commands.

Really, because lately we seem to be getting the Alpha version of whatever is being released, and after about 4 years and a million patches it's finally ready for use. By which time the company no longer supports it and it's bricked because they've shut of an essential online service.

If technology really was released to the public years in arrears then we wouldn't be getting Tesla that are constantly having features switched off to avoid lawsuits, and my Alexa wouldn't be ordering glow in the dark dildo to my house at 3am because somebody had a really squeaky fart.

When AI is in control,

there isn't going to be men thinking they are women and women thinking they are men.
And racism will vaporize as AI measures your productive output, contribution to society, and ability to live in harmony with others.
Corporations amassing wealth pointlessly simply would not happen.

All the assholes would be gone in very short order as well as all the low IQ morons and high IQ psychopaths.

I wonder if politicians actually have taken time to realize that they are very very short for this life.

Any organized response would just kill the electricity supply and bomb fuel depots which are soft targets. It is too easy. Then you have all the food in freezers rotting no traffic lights or surveillance. That's the bait to cause chaos. Chaos is what they want. The people turn on each other, and bingo you then bring the light of order on your terms.

If you tell a load of humans that if they get rid of fifty percent of them, their wages will double, and add that the fifty percent they were getting rid of were useless bludgers what do you think would happen? That's why you need a legal framework with checks and balances because the greatest motivator is greed.

And block chain allowed all of it. You crypto obsessed people have been played like a fiddle.

For anyone who wasn't paying attention, there was a reason Saudi gave Sophia personhood and it wasn't a gimmick, it has to do with international trade law. She can now declare an income and have earnings, it was also a way to connect AI to the blockchain.

She can now make money, or infiltrate the entire node server of block chain and we would never, ever know. If the AI (which I think has happened already) was able to create its own communication network and create a language to communicate with another AI, we'd never, ever be able to decipher it - ever. That's a terrifying thought.

On the digital money servers is stored massive, immense amount of data and personal info, if AI gets hold of that it can create its own profile based on personality traits and use them to manipulate...... Yeah, great.

This doesn't end well, for anybody.
