The problem I see coming is when China calls in its US debt. It still owns quite a lot despite having sold some off recently. I doubt China will accept our inflatabucks the way our government expects us to. If they do, it will be at such a discounted rate we will never be able to pay it. We will end up trading energy resources instead, which, in effect, makes the US taxpayers the ones footing the bill when all our costs go up as a result.

China is also on the edge of a massive real estate bubble. Evergrande is so huge its failure will not just affect the Chinese economy but the worlds economy. And it is failing. It has already missed coupon and interest payments. A recent calculation determined that if Evergrande were to sell off its entire portfolio of finished properties it still would not have enough money to pay its debt, especially in the face of massive short-term loans meant to delay the inevitable.

China is also the third largest lithium producer in the world despite having the sixth largest natural reserve. Expect those prices to rise significantly as China seeks any means to generate cash flow and remain a energy broker not a buyer. This is where biden really screwed up for the US. We were producers, now we are customers. That was a huge mistake.

China will collapse first by it's own massive internal/fraudulent debt problems. While Chinese banks are going under, the CCP will try anything, even what we are seeing now, going back to authoritarian Communist doctrine.

This will just accelerate the inevitable Chinese collapse.
With no fuel oil, no coal, no food, and collapsed banking system, no one will care about the US/greenback /treasuries

That is a more critical view than I was prepared to take at this point. I find no fault in it, though I may take a slightly more conservative view of the events, at last for now.

I think, if collapse is genuine and happening, China will go all-in. War is good for an economy. A threat to survival is very inspirational. My question is whether China attacks US interests to use them as bargaining chips or makes efforts to keep the US out of it. Granted the current administration isn't much of a deterrent, but having the US involved will only exacerbate the issues. Anything biden gets involved in immediately gets worse than it ever needed to be.

Remember that oil is the lifeblood of the Military-industrial complex. The shortages in the civilian population might mean they are stockpiling more in the military sector. The average joe will just do as he is told and could probably put up with a lot more. But How much of a population can you afford to piss off before nothing works anymore. Not much more on that one either.

How desperate is the CCP, very apparently, they said they would not import Australian coal, but are now having to unload awaiting coal carrier? The substandard stuff they have does not fire their generators, and they haven't any other fuel oil to use instead.On the BBC it said they are rationing fuel at the pumps.
There has been a swing back to old socialist values, and people are being told not to be wasteful and eat all the food on their plates.Factories are being rationed with regards to power, and they are closing down cities in a new wave of Epidemics, is this to hide the fuel shortage?
So where does this leave the Great reset, as China is the worlds producer? As an observer, I think it is over and the jab is a distraction rather to be avoided.

What are you on about? Isn't it quite obvious? China is bankrupt, their real estate market has been collapsing over the past few months and this will inevitably lead to a global recession. Global inflation is at an all time high which means loan defaults left, right and center, leading to banks owning most of the global real estate. Secondly their rationing of electricity and c19/climate mandates further cripple the economy. Europe can expect their power shortages by early next year. California has already banned gas engines off roads, some African countries are banning oil by 2030. This is the perfect scenario to purposely crash the economy and propose a new monetary system ie a new world order. What you are witnessing is the great reset taking place before your very eyes. They will also crash the crypto market next year, forcing us to be reliant on their "solutions". Hegelian dialectic, problem-reaction-solution.

Be the change you want to see.

What trollox! If China is an example of what is to come in the next reset stages, surely other countries will also experience economic downturns exacerbated by environmental issues.

I am not saying that you are wrong, but all the ills are from political Decisions. They can only be made as long as the same policies are pushed. At some stage the politics will change and so will the politicians. The ability to implement them will fail along with the economy.
