DO IT MAN!!!

Walk the talk brotherman!!! Go ahead and apply for overseas student programs....I did'nt do that, I just found work overseas but school would have been better I think

They have schools that are just made for languages, 4,6 or 8 hours a day of learning and the other time is spent teaching english to children...You usually use visual aids to teach kids as English teachers...Apple=red,
lizard=green...stuff like that.

The Peace Corps is always an option too, you don't make much money but when you finish your 2 years of service you get superb discounts on school and college.

Anyways, you may have already said but what are you plans for after school?

Well, the fact of the matter is this..

I hate to be the lone person to say this, but..

Ever think that it is rather arrogant to claim that you are an 'intellectual individual' (which you very may well be), yet at the same time be, in effect, putting down those around you?

You preach about how we should all be equal and what not, and how people put down other people, but then you yourself do the same?

Hypocritical, if you ask me. Toughen up soldier, straighten up that upper lip.

Sorry for the harshness, but it had to be said.

For what it's worth, I need to tell you that your "hate", "rage" & "contempt" are NOT a BAD thing. For many of us, it "defines" our live's parameters. It's what you do/dont do with these emotions that makes a real difference... channel them in a creative way. Someone needs to speak/show these things for the are real to this world. no?

There is SO much I want to say, but at the moment I must tend to another matter. Perhaps I will post more tomorrow. For now I leave you with this.

The peoples you loath, and the herds of lemmings that line up behind them- they too SERVE A PURPOSE. You have to re-adjust your perception of life. These people are no better or worse then you or I. So what if the are ignorant to whats going on it the world? So what? Your not. We arent. I'm sure you know alittle something about dualism & duality. You need these people and they need you....

You must step back and see the "big picture", your role in it, and their role in it- surely you are aware we are ALL connected...

Theory of Gestalt: : a structure, arrangement, or pattern of physical, biological, or psychological phenomena so integrated as to constitute a functional unit with properties not derivable by summation of its parts

Understand this and you have a great start (not that you don't already)!!

Be well...

Peace

I think in a sense all mankind in some point or another is hypocritical of themselves. I believe we all have been hypocritical in some point in our lives. I am not really sure if you read all my post or not, but I never came out and said I am better than any other entity or species on this earth. I said we need to tolerate each others limitations, whether it be intelligence or driving a bus for the first time. WE all have limitations and we ALL must accept them in others, and in ourselves. I am by no means a pompous individual as you are implying. Even though we are all equal in the eyes of God, through the eyes of the world we are not. I believe everyone is equal. I know for a fact we are, but social economic status, and other variations in our society’s environment separate us in a matter we can see. Others may be better off, like the plutocratic fixed in a juxtaposition beside the poor, you know automatically the plutocratic are better off in monetarily finances, but that does not make one social class superior in the eyes of God. Obviously you do not know my relationship with God, or me as a person.. I am a very humble person, and I don’t think saying a person is a “spiritual individual” is necessarily arrogant. Or if one is self-conscious of themselves stating that they are intelligent. I do not think myself better than others, but see everyone as my equal. Yes , even though there are people out there who are more intelligent than the common Joe, that does not make that one person better than the common Joe in the eyes of God. I guess what I trying to say is I do not think of myself as a pompous person. Instead I pray to God I remain humble.

All I am saying is this:

Depression and hard-times happens to ALL of us, smart, dumb, or what have you. At the same time, who is to judge who is intelligent and who is not?

I too pray to my God, and I made no intention to make a personal attack on you. We all have been through rough and difficult times, I am no exception. Perhaps my strict military background makes me some-what bias in this, however, all I am attempting to say is that we all have difficult things, but we cannot all go around dwelling on these things. Things always get better, and when the tough comes around, you just have to be tough about it and bear through the hard-times.

I haven’t read the entire thread sorry if echo.

Don’t let it all get you down, set yourself free, go for a walk, exercise your mind on something positive.

Life sucks right, so get stuck in to what you want now, and at some point it wont suck anymore. Your look back and think, depressed, yeah, in my mind i been there, but not anymore.

Pretty girls, i know what you mean, but you most definatly always ignore girls like that, don’t even look, [when she's looking lol] girls like that live in worlds of there own which revolve around all things girly, don’t even go there. You have to laugh at there self-importance, i mean, come on.

I suffered from feeling down in the past [i don’t like the word depressed] but you just got be brave about it.

Have faith. And keep your faith, don’t lose it.

Hey LOD, Good to see you cheering up a bit man! You set a fine example for others who may be feeling similar stress. It was a super mature thing you did laying your feelings out there for all to see, you should be commended. Now if you can just manage to avoid power trippin' chick bosses, you should have it made in the shade!!!

Holding poise is the key to handling depression. It is important to keep your bearings and not explode, melt-down, or otherwise lose composure.

Amongst the alchemically inclined, depression is considered to be a Capricorn class natural phenomena associated with deadly orgone energy, etc... Capricorn is the putrefactive primordial analogy, and is either dying or developing; too much putrefaction means death. Capricorn can be anaerobic degeneration, or it can be adolescent development. If you wallow in the depression and build upon it, you might die from it. If you use the depression as a springboard or as scaffolding, you might develop off of it. The idea is to transform the anaerobic into the aerobic using the work principle. Capricorn is "trying to breath," while Leo (strength) and Virgo (poise) breath freely. Hold poise and build strength despite any "madness" attempting to overtake you, and you will become golden or "illuminated." Allow only about as much awareness of this depression as you can handle with poise and grace; depression is weight which must be carried along in life.

Capricorn analogy: Air element, Tough, fat, depression, deadly orgone, peak-state energy, catalyst, battery, erection, scaffold, armor, confusion, vampire, werewolf, insane, Princess, Devil, tower, drug, poison, acid, goat, horse, pig, dog, feces, fertilizer, corn, candy, ambition, base metal, temper, gladiator, prostitute, pirate, cavalry, lazy, abortive, challenged, adolescent, pimple, and initially awake.

I don't think you have depression. You sound like a normal human being. I would be worried if you did not feel that way everyonce in awhile.

Don't sweat the small #e, because it is all small #e. Mick Jagger

You say that you are 18? I think you are adjusting to life with responsibility, it may be overwhelming at time but you will learn and be a better person in the long run, so just hang in there and watch out for lightning.

i dont know if anyones still on this thread, but i understand where you're coming from, im only 12, but my thought processes are roughly up there with you guys and i feel that way too, its like the rest of the world is filled with stupid, ignorant fools who would rather go get wasted at a party then do something that someone might benefit from

Arrogance has its place in nature, but its place is carefully controlled and limited by that same human nature. Too much, and it becomes the undoing character . . . a cancer. The right mix of arrogance in the personality though becomes a catalyst for development - transformation akin to adolescence with its childish arrogance. Yes, most people are far less intelligent than they should be, but there is a class of people who value superior intelligence, and know how to steal it by virtue of their superiority in understanding over most garden variety "geniuses." Part of the process involves blowing any arrogance already on the scene out of all natural proportion - amplifying it - while working to destroy the targetted soul, while its body sleeps, and while it interects with the world. Beware of the unseen, astral presence so difficult to detect. It most assuredly has or will find you, and will conduct vigil over you as you sleep and go about your business in dreams and in the waking world. Wear full bed clothing at night, covering as much of the body as possible. Work at your life and hold your arrogance in check.

I feel that way, too. However, I am nowhere near depressed. There is a thin line between happiness and depression. I've come to accept the fact that "the majority of the world is a bunch of ignorant fools who just wanna go get wasted at a party then do something that someone might benefit from" and don't let it bother me. It's their life - not mine. This keeps me happy, sociable, and amicable.

However, for those who can't come to terms with this, I can see how it can lead to depression. Everything is in your mind - don't let the behavior of others control how you feel and how your mind works.

Well, let me be the first to tell you that life is pure politics.

Donald Trump once said he was walking down the street one day after he realized he owed a lot of money and was about to file for bankruptcy with around a billion dollars in debt when he saw a homeless man.

At that very moment he looked at that homeless man and realized that the homeless man had a billion dollars more than him.

------------------

At one point in time, a homeless man was greater than Trump, and some would say the homeless man still is.

The point is, that story was just to entertain you. That's all politics is.

The most popular people simply make everyone around them feel great. That's all there is to it.

You might like to talk with some Christian counselors if you can find one that you think is sensible and has a good grasp of where you're coming from. Sometimes they can make suggestions to help you smooth your path.
