People need to change the sources their learning from. I was military intelligence during this time and there WERE WMDs in Iraq, don't kid yourself. Did we find all of them? Was it just used as pretense for ulterior motives? Maybe, but they were there, we did find some and there were likely more that were moved from the known locations before we checked.

I've said since the beginning that covid cured old age. No one dies from just being old anymore.

84 years old. Beyond life expectancy age. Sure he had some comorbidities. Old people die from flu and pneumonia all the time.

He was the man that got up in front of the UN and blatantly lied about Iraq having weapons of mass destruction. He presented the false justification for baby bush to go to war in Iraq.

I posted this before I started reading replies. It appears I am just a little late to the ballgame.

I credit Colin Powell with giving us the blue-print of how to take back America, if force is needed.

Check, they definitely had chemical weapons. How employable they were by the time of the 2003 war, I don't know.

A very different question is, were WMDs the real reason for the invasion? I have strong doubts about that and have long believed the wrong two countries were invaded post 9-11.

Powell was competent as a corps commander in the Army. I don't think he was well suited for the political roles he took on after his military service ended.
