We should all be very familiar with the Anthropic Principle, which basically states that the world is the way it is because if it was not, you would not be here to observe it. Everything that happened and did not happen in the most granular of timelines.

This also includes all of the Paradoxes, profound mysteries, impossibilities and paranormal that have "happened". All of the things we cannot and perhaps never will be able to explain.

The Anthropic Principle incorporates all of this as well and remains just as valid.

The Earth's magnetic field is pretty weak, a refrigerator magnet is magnitudes stronger. It can't move water and it can't overcome the angular momentum of Earth's rotation.

We are told by scientists that the Dzhanibekov Effect cannot flip the Earth because it is a sphere and, as such, has no unstable intermediate axis of rotation.

I'm not so sure. The Earth is not a perfect sphere. Strip away its thin layer of water an it is an irregular-shaped geoid which can, according to computer modelling, succumb to the Dzhanibekov Effect. See here:

I believe whatever we think, is limited by what we know.

There are more unknowns than stars, so we will always be searching. Every new bit of data we discover, or trip up on, triggers a reset.

I also believe that with each new discovery, we open up new doors that lead us in different directions, into worlds with different possibilities.

I believe we are trapped in this repeating cycle of knowing, and searching, because we have been taught and conditioned, to think this way. It makes the difference between what is accepted as truth, and what is rejected, by those making the rules.

Rules of science limit you, and keep you moving in the prevailing direction. Those that attempt to think outside the box, rarely make it past the periphery. Even then they are still tethered to the accepted norm, or rejected as crazy, a fool, ignorant, or misinformed.

I wonder if we have the ability to see beyond the spectrum we have been allowed. If we could, would we even know what we were looking at?

Anyway, my thought in the moment.

It's simple... the earth is flat... (or a broad plain to be exact)

The earth is getting bigger, that would explain why my garden when I dig 2 feet down it is sand and the coastal shore where I live is starting to grow green plants..... Over the last few years.

Less see more land would sure help the human race to grow... Or would it?

Intersting, however if you were looking down from above as if the ceiling were seethrough, the orentation would be correct. Meant to be viewed through the gods eyes?

From that perspective an east-west reversal can work but not the north-south reversal we also observe. Sirius would still be higher than Osiris in the sky and both Sirius and Osiris would still be above the ecliptic (an outcome that could only be observed from Giza if the world is turned upside-down).

i coulda swore that in book of revelations it said:

"the northern hemisphere shall see the southern stars,."

after the falling star with the KEYS TO THE BOTTOMLESS PIT
i,m pretty sure it was just after a great earthquake, but google isnt helping me..

and maybe in koran about the sun rising in the west...

you ever see those machines they put pilots in that spins like many gyroscopes
inside each other,
for out of control aircraft, how, he spins one way, and all of a sudden FLIPS
other way,?? kindof like the earths magnetic dynamo, will one day FLIP

well,.... WHAT HAPPENS TO ALL THAT WATER? if the earth suddenly STOPS,
then reverses course.... one hellova tidal wave i bet wastes 3/4 of the planet..

He has his own forum here on ATS. I figured out why. He is actually a book writer especially in regards to ancient Egypt, the pyramids, etc. and was given a forum just for himself ;-p

I'm glad you raised this point about the sun rising in the west. You also suggest for this to happen requires the Earth to suddenly stop and reverse its course (its spin rotation).

This is a great misconception. For the sunrise and sunset to swap places does not require a change in the direction of the Earth's axial rotation at all. All that is needed is for the Earth to turn over 180° but that its axis of rotation remains in place i.e. the rotational axis does not turnover with the body of the Earth.

It sounds counter-intuitive but this is an actual property of spinning bodies as pointed out by physicist, Peter Warlow, in his Tippe-Top theory. Watch:

The Diehold One is of the view that the Earth slows down, stops, and reverses spin direction. He believes that it will occur about October 16th 2046. That's his best guesstimation.

The Suspicious one is of the view that the Earth flips over but also rotates 90 degrees, and it is coming up soon, I'm guessing he thinks perhaps the 2030's? Who knows.

Earth flips upside down aka Australia goes from being the Land Down Under to being the Land Up Over, but keeps spinning the same direction and does not slow down spin and rotates in the same direction, just flipped upside down to the lands in the southern hemisphere are now viewing the stars currently viewed in the Northern hemisphere.

3. Earth flips upside down as above, except there is crustal displacement (due to extra heat inside the earth) and the crust rotates 90 degrees, in essence, the Geophysical North pole and the South pole are now at the current sunny equator of the Earth and taking much more sunshine than normal.

I would love your opinion on which of these three you think is more likely to be true, or if you have your own other view, please do share.

Just as an added thought . . . there is Venus and Uranus to consider.
The question has been asked "Why do Venus and Uranus spin in the wrong direction?"
If you google that question, you will find some reasonable explanations which are inconclusive.
They simply do not know however, it is worth noting that they do.

Venus is upside down . . . meaning the North and South poles are flipped. In addition, it rotates backwards.
Uranus is tilted over so far it spins on its side.

Without delving into the mechanics of it, it is noteworthy that they do.

To be honest I have no fixed view on the mechanism. I'm firmly of the opinion that Earth inversions occur regularly (after long periods of time) and also that they are an inherent property of spinning bodies in space. I think the Dzhanibekov Effect needs much more scrutiny and modelling of the Earth under different conditions. It has already been shown that the Earth's geoid is susceptible to the Dzhanibekov Effect. What happens when the ice sheets build up? What happens when there is a sudden and rapid movement of ice or water from one part of the Earth to the other (such as Meltwater Pulse 1a and 1b)?

Objects with an intermediate (unstable) axis will naturally flip in the zero gravity of space. Science, however, tells us this cannot happen to the Earth because, they tell us, the Earth is a sphere and has only one major axis of rotation - it has no intermediate / unstable axis. Well, strip away its thin layer of water and the Earth is far from a perfect sphere and its geophysical properties, its distribution of mass is constantly changing.

I think science needs to do more simulations / computer modelling of the Dzhanibekov Effect taking into account different climatic conditions of the Earth (large/small ice caps, high/low sea levels).
