Active-duty soldiers have three months to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or face a possible discharge from the force, the Army announced Tuesday.

The 485,900 soldiers on active duty must be vaccinated by Dec. 15. But the 336,500 National Guard and 189,800 Reserve troops have until June 30, 2022, to be fully inoculated

I kind of thought this was going to happen. Now , being a Veteran of a foreign war, ( I'm still puzzled at this, did they officially call " Vietnam War " classified as a war ) will I or others that have not been jabbed with this unknown gene therapy crap going to be allowed in any VA hospitals. Something to think about.

This comes as no surprise.

Only thing I wonder is that it didn't happen sooner.

Its EXTREMELY hard not to think the Democrats and tech companies colluded with the Chinese to do all this from the start.

The other mandates are quite overreaching to say the least.

But it's not surprising with soldiers though. Ask any soldier who's gone on tour what they had to get pumped with and they may not even be able to recite the list.

Also, the debate on whether the vaccine is effective aside, clearly the government thinks it's effective. So in their minds they don't want to risk an outbreak that could take whole units out of action. Something that would be a worse case scenario for combat readiness.

Three months is a lifetime to this administration. Perhaps Biden will be removed by the XXV amendment before them.

Now we wait to see how many will just take the discharge. When I was in, there were tons of younger enlistees that would’ve jumped at getting an easy way out. We may see hard times for the military next year.

If it's an honorable discharge, good for them.

Their trajectory in life will be onward and upward, from this point forward.

Or the two parties colluded to scream external collusion every election so they can hold power 🙄 (mostly joking)

The left and the right are broken records at this point. The only people who take them seriously are sycophants.

I believe early on it happened on a Navy ship that was out on the ocean. ( Well, actually it did happen, have to find a link for it though )

The way our military has been weakened, it wouldn't surprise me if the government wanted to take some of them out.

Nobody cares about discharges unless it’s a dishonorable discharge. There are tons of people with general, other than honorable, and medical discharges that do great in life.

Pretty much. It's high time every career politician be forced to step down.

I know 2 people with heart conditions that were told tough get out or get the vaccine.

They brought in family care doctors to tell them they had nothing to worry about.

Luckily so far so good.

I was thinking of those who go to work for contractors. But then again, those poor guys have got to get an injection with the experimental vaccine now too, don't they?

But you are right regarding most employers. They just want to ensure the veteran was not dishonorably discharged.

And maybe not many of them since there is such a employee shortage these days.

In today's military with all the high tech training now that is required, it would be mind bloggingly that they would force a discharge on the soldier, but who knows. I've said since the beginning Biden was going to break the moral of the top brass and then work on the ground soldier, so far I've been spot on.

Soliders have been used as guinea pigs for a long time, then when they are old and sick everyone wants to turn a blind
eye. It is really such a disgrace! We literally treat foreigners in our country better than veterans!

It did happen on a vessel... But I'm sure it could happen in many branches. The amount of soldiers they'll put into a plane or barracks is pretty inviting for an outbreak.

Whether or not it's the end of the world or life threatening to the troops aside, it could still take them out of commission at an inopportune time.

I don't know if vaccinating is really going to change those odds, or if those in leadership truly believe it does... But it covers their asses if something happens. I won't proclaim they're doing it for the right reasons, but I'm certainly not surprised.

They have 3 months to take the approved vaccine.

Unless the bottle says Comirnaty on it then they can refuse.

I made a post about this.
