Pandemics certainly are "a thing". But as a global happening they tend not to be even a once in a lifetime thing. More a once in a Century thing....if that.

And Spanish Flu? It not only happened before I was born it happened before my parents were born. Same as for many members here. Heck, for some members it would have happened before their grandparents were born. In fact, it may have happened before mine were born. I'd have to double-check....but I'm sure you get the picture?

So don't you think it's rather concerning to suddenly see people in positions of power and "expertise" piggy-backing off Covid and illogically speaking of pandemics as if they're an almost annual occurrence?
