Folks this is it... were down to the nitty gritty... Last Chance to submit a story!

And Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls... that's officially all she wrote!

It's at this stage that we encourage you all to VOTE & STAR your favorite Contest Story

With sincere gratitude the ATS Staff wishes to thank each and every one of you for participating in our Short Story Contest entitled; "Legends of the Fall". Every time I read these diversely themed stories, I get hearken-back to the thought that ATS truly has some "mighty fine creative minds" in their membership!

Oh and by the way, we also need to thank the 'Theme Creator' of our Short Story Contest, Access Denied. So please drop her a post in here and let her know that you enjoyed it.

We had quite a few new members participate for the first time while still trying to get to know the ends and outs of ATS... Nice job folks, not just for joust-ling around trying to figure the whole ATS experience out, but also finding the time to submit a story too? I tip my hat to you all, well done... well done indeed!

On a personal note... It's my hope that we can continue to gain some steam and momentum with more Contests and stories that will continue to blow us away and take us to unexplored areas. So tell a friend to stop by and hang out with us.

I thought of doing a cutesy story in the vein of Johnny Fedora and Alice Bluebonnet just for JohnnyAnonymous because he likes the Andrews Sisters.

AccessDenied, first off- thank you very much for your Theme. I found it to be very inspiring. I mean, seriously- The moment that I read Legends of the Fall, my mind exploded with ideas. A very good choice, indeed.

This contest was a lot of fun. I have read each and every entry, and I have enjoyed them all. I am thankful for the chance to give back to the community, and even more thankful for the chance to learn more about myself through the creative process. It's been a rough couple of years for all, and this contest, these stories, are an inspired reprieve from from it all. I can't wait for the next one!

When I chose it I had no idea how many different ways it could be interpreted or what intriguing directions member's stories would take. So glad it inspired you to participate. 😊

Unfortunately life got in the way of me being able to finish my story for LF2021 so I’ll just leave it where it is.
Congrats and good luck to everyone who entered, I’ve read some very good stories here at ATS.

There are some great stories in the competition. I wrote one tonight, while only vaguely skimming the rules, but decided to have a proper look before I posted it. I've missed the deadline!

No worries, I can hopefully rejiggle it for the next theme.

The story themes are open-ended and very self-interpretive, so it might be somewhat easy to repurpose a good story ;o)

Keep in mind folks that this is a critical part of the Contest, so......
