No. Antibodies are proteins which have an affinity for antigens. Antibodies produced by the mRNA vaccines work in a couple of ways. They can glom onto the spike protein covering the virus and thus prevent it from invading a cell and they can also "tag" a virus, arousing the interest phagocytes.

B cells and T cells are not antibodies.

T Cells and B cells are lymphocytes and white blood cells. They are part of the immune system, and produce antibodies. They are antibodies, or part of the chain that creates them. Split hairs all you want, you are trying too hard.

I looked on Amazon two weeks ago to see what was available for antibody tests and there were several home tests available. Two swabs in a kit for $20-30. I thought, hmmm, I'm interested in knowing if I have antibodies, whether from the vaccine or from possibly having it in April of 2020.

I went back yesterday to place an order and you cannot order one from Amazon any longer. As a business, you can order a box of them for like $400, but not a single box to be found.

Wonder why?

I know there are blood tests and saliva tests for antibodies.

Never heard of antibody swab tests. I don't think there are any such things approved.

Sorry - "swab" was a poor word choice. They were saliva tests-- two per kit.
