I've experienced love, which is why i know it to exist in my little phere of reality, its a word i use to describe a feeling i have and i do not have any experiences i attribute to god.
We can doubt all things we believe to exist - our sense experiences are not always reliable,but then we could go on to ask how we can be sure that a little fairy isnt sat next to us right now, or that we've imagined everyone we know, etc etc and we'd get lost in descarte's 'i think therefore i am' arguement...

If we bring doubt in to arguements to support god, and question what we feel we 'know' to exist, that doubt must also stretch to gods existence; those who have experiences of god then cant be sure of those either. So we're always brought back to the same point of not attaining certainty or knowing anything for sure....
