How much US military gear was just “lost” in Afghanistan. And I am sure that gear is isn’t going to be a threat to anyone where they might need to increase their security posture through services and equipment.

And remembering that 19 people on airplanes also caused many trillions of dollars in MIC spending.

They could simply invent another bomber gap if they wanted to.

I could think of hundreds of easier and more effective ways that wouldn't involve leaving 86,000 behind.

Most of them wouldn't have destroyed joe's presidency.

I agree, my point was simply that it was by design.

Anyone who thinks this # show is just Joe bumbling is either naive or just plain stupid. Joe is just the fall guy, they're jamming as much crap-crud through as possible, and getting all the dirty deeds done that they wanted, as fast as possible, and when the dust settles, they'll just dump it all on Joe, and some people will buy it (with the help of the MSM).
