I think the number is something like 80k Afghani's that we abandoned through either malfeasance or incompetence. Neither bodes well, and are both the perfect launch pad for anti-US propaganda from China.

I don't disagree that it's a horrid situation.

The major difference is we have no long term interest in Afghanistan, it was a case of spending good money after bad.

“When Taliban fighters entered Kabul on Aug. 15, they didn’t just seize control of the Afghan government. They also gained the ability to control access to huge deposits of minerals that are crucial to the global clean energy economy.

In 2010, an internal US Department of Defense memo called Afghanistan “the Saudi Arabia of lithium,” after American geologists discovered the vast extent of the country’s mineral wealth, valued at at least $1 trillion. The silvery metal is essential for electric vehicles”

So, you're saying it was a mistake for Trump, to set in motion the pull out?

Just saying when the time comes there will be plenty of money and will to harvest that blood lithium. And if they have to China will move in and kill every male Afghani if they stand in the way.

BTW China needs women so it's a double win.

Only problem there is the projected demand is going to go off the charts in the next few years.

2025-2030 Lithium squeeze

We still have more than China and the two largest producers are in our hemisphere.

Naw, we are practicing the “art of war” let your enemy think you are weak when you are strong.

But then again Biden is pretty weak, ugh we’re F’ed.

Isn't it weird, a missed opportunity. There's a whole lot of Taliban all in one place right now,
you know, like sitting ducks.

It just goes to show, the purpose was never to win, or takeover that area or keep anyone safe. We did what we wanted and bounced!

I doubt Trump would have missed that opportunity.

Will joe?

It's not yet too late.

There never really was any codified strategy. It started as 'kill Bin Laden', then became 'oust the Taliban', then it became 'install democracy' and somewhere along the way we got sidetracked with Iraq and still tried to deal with Afghanistan.

Ron Paul warned everyone years and years ago, this site used to be filled with people who saw what the real end game was going to look like. Now it's just partisan hacks looking to assign blame to anyone but their own side.

We did what we wanted and bounced!

W. Bush: "Ladies and gentlemen, we got him."
Press: "bin Laden?"
W.Bush: "No. Saddam."
Press: "What?"
W.Bush: "something something. Iraq is open for business."

You can follow the link in the article to the original Mail piece. They are who claimed to have a copy.

And I did not say some guy I knew.

But that doesn't matter.

I asked for media that hated joe.

You gave me two tiny operations.

Because there are no majors that dislike joe.

Use that grey matter for a minute here.

That might remind you that nearly 100% of MSM is completely controlled by biden loving democrats.

Some of them have actually put together specials in effort to rehabilitate humter's image.

Here is where it gets complicated now.

Why haven't the same biden loving media debunked the story?

Why didn't they just show us the pics and say 'see, there's nothing to it. Just crazy republicans again'?

Is MSM ever shy about leaping out to defend democrats?

Can you name even a single other issue where this has occurred?

Any explanation other than the obvious?

Why can't MSM show us the pics?

Come on, you can do it.

Everyone in the class is cheering your name.

You know the answer.

Don't make it more complicated than it needs to be.

This isn't some kind of trick question.

I'm pulling for you.

Why haven't any of the biden loving msm just shown us the pics to debunk this story?

Come on, answer the question.

Why haven't the biden loving msm just shown us the pics to debunk the cp claim?

Not a trick question.

Take a deep breath and just say it.

It's easy.

And obvious.

You already know the answer.

Everyone does.

The answer is....?

Nah, the mistake was pulling out in the middle of the night without telling the afghanistani army and leaving behind all the cool stuff. And apparently even the state dept and contractors…

Weird huh?

Not asking to prove a negative.

I wouldn't do that.

And call out others when they do.

It really isn't a trick question.

More like captain obvious.

Asking specifically why they don't just show everyone the pics to prove what they do or don't show?

Several msm claim to have them, so that isn't the answer.

And the answer isn't necessarily that they show cp.

You would have already given up the answer if any other politician.

Those last two lines were another hint.

However they eventually will however. Lithium is relativity rare and nonrenewable. And if the world goes to all electric vehicles I would fear they run the risk of tapping out the supply. If anything they should be telling all the car companies to be looking at and working on alternate technologies now. Get off the lithium and extend out into the future when it starts to run out.

They shouldn't be wasting lithium on rechargeable cars. Sorry Tesla.

Will lithium pollution make us all crazy?
