However they eventually will however. Lithium is relativity rare and nonrenewable. And if the world goes to all electric vehicles I would fear they run the risk of tapping out the supply. If anything they should be telling all the car companies to be looking at and working on alternate technologies now. Get off the lithium and extend out into the future when it starts to run out.

They shouldn't be wasting lithium on rechargeable cars. Sorry Tesla.
