Anyone coming into Hawaii has to be tested 72 hours prior to flying in and show proof of a negative test.
Or proof of vaccination.

New rules, even vaxx'd you have to have the covid test done.

Source? I know dumping the vaccine waiver is on the table. Hadn't heard it has happened.

Something I read recently.

No source but the team I have coming in after me to Queens is having the tests done regardless of vax status.

There is a vaccine exemption from quarantine. Just as there is a testing exemption. Both are not required.

Wasn't DB just in Hawaii?

I'm still here.

I heard Phage needs some assistance harvesting fresh bananas from his yard...

Yeah. They're ready right now.

And me with a broken metatarsal. Good thing I have nephews.

I'm probably in the wrong end of the island.

Phage is just going to have to do without me.

Right now I'm trying to convince people that the fat, bloated thing on the beach does NOT need to return to the ocean.

I'm just trying to get a little sun.

I'm focusing on the island of Hawaii where the article is written about,
What makes you think that?

The way the article read, I interpreted it as a statement about the hospitals on the main island and not the entire chain. But that's fine with me, if you want a baseline of 1,000,000 instead of 200,000 that's fine by me. Divide all my calculations by 5 and it looks even more underwhelming.

My father calls the grandkids for picking the citrus in his yard.

Used to just be an excuse for him to get the kids to come over for an afternoon.

Now its an excuse for the young adults to keep grandpa off the ladder.

I hope it turns into a family gathering event for you too.

Oahu is actually the "main" island.
You should see all the grass shacks. Median price for a single family shack just hit $1 million.

but according to the cdc it`s much more common with vaccinated people because you won`t even know you have covid, in fact that`s now the selling point of getting vaccinated isn`t it? you`ll have less symptoms or be asymptomatic with the vaccine. They gave up on their first prediction that you won`t get covid if you are vaccinated after a alot of people worldwide got covid after being vaccinated. now they are basically saying you`ll be a typhoid mary, carrying and spreading the virus with little to no symptoms IF you get the vaccine.

No. The CDC doesn't say that. That doesn't even make any sense.

That was never claimed.

With all due respect...

You're doing it wrong if looking at your phone instead of the scenery.

Kona beaches are pretty miserable this time of year unless you're in the water. Hot. Really hot and humid.

Mauka Kona is much nicer. Up at about 1000' or so.

Paniolo country.

I lived there for a year or so. When the weather is nice it's really nice. But most of the time it's windy with misty rain. Sort of like what you're used to?
