As Hawaii sees record high COVID cases, governor pleads with public to change behaviors

At 1.416 million population we have currently 47,612 "confirmed" covid cases which comes out to 3.362% of the population.
Out of that 3.362% "infected" 544 have died or 1.142% of the infected.

Then if you check the flu stats of 2017 - 2018 you find some very similar numbers.
Funny thing is Hawaii has listed 1 flu case in 2020.

In my opinion forced vaccinations are not justifiable with these kinds of numbers and especially when they were no mask mandates or forced flu shots for the same numbers of flu cases.

Imagine that.

More people are testing positive but hospitals aren't overwhelmed and no one that I'm working with are wearing panic pants.

Um. No. The viral loading for Delta seems to be about the same for vaccinated and vaccinated.

But the vaccinated aren't being hospitalized at nearly the rate of the unvaccinated.

ROFL. The death rates and "infection" rates are almost identical for vax'd or unvax'd, does that alleged "vaccine" ever work eh! It's about as effective as on off the shelf cold medicine. Funny thing though, death and adverse effects by jab is orders of magnitude higher in the vax'd, could it be because they're vax'd, hmmmmm? When did you become a cheerleader for non-science or is it still pronounced nonsense? When the military vehicles start going down the streets with megaphones telling people to bring out their dead, I wonder if all y'all will wake up and smell the corruption ;-) Fall and winter are coming, prime times for ADE to show its face through cytokine storms and massive organ failure, if the capillary leakage and feathering weren't enough to get this "ball" rolling. They may or may not be immune to disease. The vaccinated are immune to the effects, making them the classic definition of a carrier.

Unvaccinated people can also be non-symptomatic. It's quite common, actually.

Looks like Hawaii is suffering a pandemic of fraud, corruption and incompetence.

Well let's hope its just not the normal flu putting people in hospital because their immune systems are just primed for delta .

The problem is they're not reducing the flights or passengers on board coming to play idiot tourist in Hawai'i.

The state has no control over that but transmission from out of state (including returning residents) is put at about 2% of the total.

Why couldn't tourist give it to local people and why would a tourist go get tested? Do you have a source for that statistic?

The only source I have is that it is a number which is being used. Like I said.

Oh, it could happen, and probably does to some degree. But the clusters seem to indicate otherwise. They aren't in the tourist centers so much. Tourists who are not vaccinated must present a negative COVID test to avoid a 10 day quarantine. There are, of course, cheaters but there is not much reason to think it's not a matter of community spread. There is some talk about dumping the vaccination waiver.

I don't know how you could cheat the QR codes, I was asked by Hawaii to come and still had to jump through every hoop.

I'm working with the Queens hospital system and regardless what I think/believe, I still play by the rules.
