Emergency Services respond to a 'Significant and Serious Incident in Plymouth UK

Something is kicking off in Plymouth UK , the incident started at 6.12 pm today requiring the response of multiple air ambulances and a "Hazardous Area Response Teams (HART).

Two air ambulances have landed in Keyham Park field, and eveywitnesses have told PlymouthLive they can hear "loud bangs" and "gun shots".

Several police officers and paramedics are at the scene this evening.

There are also reports the Drake Circus shopping centre in the town has been evacuated.

Luke Pollard, MP for Plymouth Sutton and Devonport, tweeted: "Really worrying news coming out of Keyham in #plymouth. Please can everyone stay safe, stay indoors and follow police advice."

I'm standing on Wolseley Road, one of the main routes through Plymouth and it is currently closed in both directions around Henderson Place with traffic being diverted.

There's a huge police presence here, I've lost count of the number of police vehicles.

Just where I'm standing I can see at least half a dozen.

There are three ambulances and we've just seen four air ambulances actually take off from the scene here, so there's a huge amount going on.

We do not have any confirmed official details from the police yet other than that the incident is ongoing

There are multiple fatalities following a "serious and tragic" incident in Plymouth - and a shooter involved has been shot, Sky News understands.

It is not being treated as terror-related and the incident, in the Keyham area, is believed to have been contained.

Not much of a consolation but at least there's that , hopefully it's gang related.

Saw a couple of reports elsewhere but very little information at the moment.
Lots of stressed out and p***** off people around currently.

Wouldn't like to guess right now so we'll have to wait for further news.

Quite how some folk on here want to bend and twist this tragic incident to have something to do with vaccines just shows how utterly and indescribably sad they are.

I can't confirm or deny this at this stage but it is something as a UK lawyer I do deal with.

Yes. County lines is a big thing here. It's called "Cuckooing". The dealers take over vulnerable folks flats and use them to deal drugs. Against their will. It is evil.
