My wife and I got it. She is 31 and I am 35.

Moderna first dose was nothing. Mine was JAN/FEB

Second dose knocked me on my rear end for 36 hours. Started about 18 hours after the second dose. I was shaking, fever of 104, sensitive to light, migraine like headache, 800 mg of ibuprofen and a dose of Tylenol helped. Of course it started in the COVID lab so having to unsuit and get out of there and just leave was annoying.

For my wife, first dose nothing, same symptoms with the second dose which I loved because she was saying I was being a man baby after my shot.

She also got a swollen lymph node in her armpit and a good sized under her clavicle. She also has an autoimmune thyroid disease which most likely contributed to the lymph node issues. Hers was MAR/APR I think.

No lasting issues, COVID still visited our house and I got it mild and she didn’t. Pregame with Tylenol if you are worried or take it the night or morning after. Ibuprofen is what I took, then Tylenol with the fever.

Similar situation.

Travel globally with work, get jabbed or get lost.

Wasn't planning on having it.

1, only had first
2, 2 weeks later arm weak but nothing else.
Pfizer.

Was told not to exercise for 48 hours after first.
Went for 15km run within 48 hours to see if heart went bang... Didn't. Was fine.

Ahhh the advantages of being an independent contractor.

#1 I am not getting the vaccine now, my doctor whom I trust is completely ambivalent about me getting it.

#2 Knowing my medical history, if one person is gonna grow horns after getting vaccinated it will be me.

I'll add this caveat I just need more data, I'm watching the hospitalizations if they shoot up I'll ask my doctor about getting it again.

1. No

2. N/A

Just to add, I've had long Covid type fatigue, brain fog, etc., for about a year, but I don't know if I've had it; I've not submitted to any tests (PCR/LF/etc.).

1. Did YOU get the vax?

2. Did YOU have any lasting or serious side effects from getting the vax?

1. Yes, both of them, a couple of months have passed since.

2. No, was a little lethargic and "off" for 5 days the 1st time and 3 days the 2nd time bit been a-okay since.

1. Yes. Moderna.
2. 1st dose, just a sore shoulder for a couple days. 2nd dose, 24 hours of essentially bad flu symptoms. Fever, aches, dizziness. It sucked. Again, very sore shoulder for a few days.

4 months since my 2nd dose, nothing to note.

1. Yes.

2. Sore arm for a day after both shots. That's it. Coming up on 4 months after the 2nd shot now.

My wife had the sore arm with the first one, and she was down with a fever for 24 hours the day after her 2nd one.
