For the original strain the vaccines work great to prevent infection. For Delta they seem to do little to prevent infection, but the data shows they do reduce the risk of serious illness and death.

Delta came from India, where there were basically no vaccinations. The unvaccinated aren't wearing masks. The vaccine does not appear to do much to prevent infection with Delta, it does appear to drastically lower the risk of severe infections and death for those vulnerable. I'm not sure if we have the data to say exactly what the benefits of the vax are for the average healthy adult. While it does not prevent infection/transmission, logically I would assume it lessens duration of infection, which would also lessen transmission, though not prevent it for the delta variant.

Looks like the more we vaccinate the more people get it... thought the goal was to avoid getting it ? and yes I understand for most its less severe yada yada yada...

Regardless looks like the current vaccination program had the unintended side effect of creating thousands of COVID superspreaders thus the return of mask restrictions.

Here is a source that covers hospitalized patients with COVID and those patients that are suspected to have COVID. FWIW its number has fluctuated on an upward trend. However, since March of 2020 over 60% of the time, we have had significantly more persons than the current 32.527 that's from the 48 states reporting.

Even with this hospitalization data, we need to remember the stress to the hospitals isn't even really the total of patients hospitalized it's those patients that have to go into INTENSIVE CARE. For example, Rockwall County's hospital is the most stressed ICU in the nation 78% of their ICU beds are occupied by persons with COVID. Want to know the number of patients it's 5 total in ICU with COVID.

Ran a 102 fever (the only fever Ive had in 20 years) for a day and it was gone. I can feel my body fighting it off. Before regularly taking the flu vax, I was sick far more frequently.

The statistic that matters is the seriousness of infection in those patients that took the vaccine. They have always anticipated breakthru.

We are at half the deaths, nationwide, as when they LIFTED the lockdowns. This is bogus alarm. Fear mongering by the admin that has nothing else to talk about but failures.

Do you think they sense how pissed off we all are? The media didnt show the marches in EU and Oz. But that doesnt mean they didnt happen, and that the regime didnt notice. The wheels coming off the wagon will be apparent by Sept. Hold on its gonna get bumpy.

There is no legal course of action to file a lawsuit against anyone for complications. They won't honor telling us what complications people are having, who should not be taking it. Some should absolutely not be getting it. If they would reveal this information more would take it.

I wonder why they (the Government/Medical Department) are not freely revealing the complications some people have and why some people should not take it . This information, if it was easily or readily available, would really help the un-vaccinated to make an informed decision to get the vax or not . Instead they do this like you said -

Because of this more and more people are apprehensive about the vaccine. Evolution - Survival of the fittest. People forget how organisms adapt to hostile environments.

If the environment is cushy and comfortable (un-vaccinated) with lots of free food, the organism will not need to mutate to a more deadly type. Of course it will evolve (mutate) naturally but it will definitely evolve to less deadly kinds - why kill your source of food? (unless of course it is programmed to kill).

If the environment is harsh and difficult to survive, food and other resources are scare (vaccinated), it will evolve to be more deadly to kill off the competition or it will evolve to circumvent the things (e.g. Vaccines or cures) that is preventing it from surviving easily. Thereby making the vaccines or cures redundant unless of course the vaccines are effective and the vaccinated do not get the disease like in the case of small pox.

Just My take on evolution
