Just seen an article in the telegraph saying the Scientist are claiming a new deadly Variant will emerge !

I don't understand why anybody who knows about Medicine is falling for this bull# ,The Gov wants lockdown Blatently

From their perspective, great plan.

Lockdown means millions of businesses go belly up, where NO ONE can buy or sell. Worst form of recession.

Then the MSM will glorify abusers like Soros, who will swoop in to "rescue" those businesses, for pennies on the dollar.


Finally, once most assets will have been purchased, I mean "rescued", by a tiny minority friends of the Regime, Covid and the rest of it will magically dissapear , the economy will be allowed to recover and those "rescuing" billionnaires will make even more billions.

To me it would seem like isolating after spread would create variant clusters only for us all to group back together for necessary services. I was contemplating this idea during the first lock down, but haven't really seen anything to confirm. Does anyone know this? It seems logical, but havent seen anyone of "acclaim" mention it.

Also let us not forget, Covid isn't the only virus in the world and the impact these lockdowns, distancing and masking have had on them.

It's already being predicted there is going to be a tonne of deaths from the flu 'next winter' once people get out of lockdowns and get back to daily life.

As many as 60,000 people could die from flu this winter, scientists have said as they warned that a combination of seasonal viruses and Covid-19 could mean that the NHS is “unable to cope” this winter.

Experts said that if left unchecked, the flu season could be particularly deadly this year but a series of measures could help mitigate the risks including the enhanced flu jab programme and rapid tests for flu.

The new report warned that a mix of Covid-19, influenza (flu) and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), could put severe strain the NHS this winter.

Scientists said that people who are sick should “stay out of the way” to avoid spreading flu and other winter viruses and stop the annual pressure put on the NHS.

Covid-19 restrictions meant that many respiratory viruses were kept at bay last winter.

But some experts have raised concern about what this could mean for population immunity to such illnesses and virologists have predicted that they will return this year as people socialise more.

The new report from the Academy of Medical Sciences states there is still high levels of uncertainty around the effect flu and other respiratory illness could have on the NHS over the winter.

You're rather amusingly wrong, the UK elite are the ones trying to stop there being a lock down because they're the business owners.

Do you honestly think that somebody who owns a chain of high class restaurants, or an industrial park full of sweat shops is going to want the country to be locked down?

Yes, lock their paying customers out, lock their staff out. Lock the source of their wealth down. That makes sense.

The people screaming for lockdown are often the labor unions who I may remind you aren't typically the UK elite.

IF you read the British newspapers you'll see that the people who are fighting most strongly against covid restrictions, including mandatory vaxxing and vax passports are the tory backbenchers. Not only the definition of the elite but also those who represent the elite in government.

Contrast this to the british Labor party who want more and more restrictions.

variants generally only emerge in densely packed areas of high infection.

Autumn/winter = More lockdowns due to too many unv@ccinated still spreading the virus.

New 'super mutant' Covid strains may emerge

May not will.

It isn't "utter Bollocks" it's the nature of viruses , they mutate to survive , hence the Delta variant is more contagious.

Yeah, it sucks that people couldn't get past the title and see it for what it really was.

It was really posing the question, is this the path we want to take?

Also, reading with a somewhat objective eye, people may have noticed that there was quite a bit of virtue signaling because it laid out a scenario where those that lived inside the city walls, owning nothing but getting what they needed, were so much better off than those outside struggling to meet their basic needs. I guess you could call it first world guilt.

Of course, people would have had to have gotten past the title and the tweet to actually see that.

Sensible post. However, what if the government lifted the lockdowns so they can fudge some numbers in order to enforce the next (seasonal) lockdown?

That sounds like after the covid vaccinations are done they will make flu shots compulsory as well. Probably they know what will happen, the Covid will eventually become a nonissue.
