Hot off the press: Government spends hundreds of thousands of pounds on contracts for a digital identity scheme

It looks like the British government is hell-bent on ensuring that every Brit will have to enroll in a digital ID scheme, ultimately meaning that freedoms will be grossly violated. I suspect it will be sold as an evolution of the concept of vaccine passports. "..because it can store all sorts of information regarding yourself, such as your vaccine status.."

We can expect that this will destroy our civil liberties, making us subject to all manner of draconian policies, such as fines for those who take part in 'illegal protests', or perhaps any enforced curfew (tracking of our phones will be a fundamental part of it I'm sure).

I don't have a mobile phone. And I never imagined I'd be forced to carry one. My thoughts are that we had better find ways to prevent this from happening or life will be fundamentally different for the kids, forever.

People who are getting "pinged" should take to leaving the mobile phones at home for a short term solution.

I’ve been saying this all along, the reason for this is so they can implement social credits and ration things in the coming resource based economy.

Nobody downloaded that track and trace thing from google last year, it just appeared on people’s phones. Sure you had to activate it, but really though?

Anyway when the digital identity is here all that will be irrelevant. You can and will be “pinged” anytime, anywhere.

This was the approach I took - I didn't set up track & trace on my phone, and as a result I never heard any ping. However, I get the feeling that this approaching ID 'solution' will be compulsory - we will not be able to travel between the nations, neither will be we able to assemble freely (unless we leave our phones at home, thought doing so would be fraught with problems), and perhaps we won't even be able to buy or sell, without the digital passport. Dangerous times.

The plan was never intended to stop at jabs, card or passports. They envision a digital KEY embedded within the body that will be required for phone / internet access, linking of computer activities, location history regardless of you carrying a phone or not and social / medical history and current conditions. Once you take that, you're basically their property.
The effectiveness or uselessness of the pharmaceutical bioweapon is irrelevant. What interests the cabal most of all is the acquiescence towards compliance. These are just baby steps to roll out their true agendas.

I think we have passed the point of no return.

They have convinced enough people to willing accept their position on a prison planet. The few that refuse, will be easily monitored, without need of a device.

They will stick out like a sore thumb, and will be no threat, or problem for the masters. They have enough minions to do the job for them. They will not have to pay them or reward them, because their hate will be strong enough for them to act alone.

They will despise the sight of us, because we will be a reminder of what they threw away, and can never regain.

The governments of the "free" world are all in this together.

I find it very interesting how placid the American people have become.

Their timing is perfect. Boomers who have a history of love of country, but distrust of government, our numbers are rapidly dwindling. Throw in a little virus to speed up the process. Knock off a few of cost prohibitive medically challenged, tag and monitor the rest, and half of the job is done.

I grew up under the banner of "Give Me Liberty Or Give Me Death". You saw those banners and flags hanging almost everywhere you went.

They don't view the old folk as a threat, because our numbers are few, and we aren't as mobile or as strong. They will take the guns, they will slow walk the populace into it, as we die off.

They will take control. Only because we let them.

What you don't know is that you have a digital identity because you have a passport, or a National Insurance Number, or driving licence, or an NHS number. It's how the police know whether you exist, or not, when you give a made-up name and date of birth after you have been caught stealing a bike.

Joining it all up to create a coherent digital identity already happens e.g. when you apply for a new passport online.

Anyway, it's not even a secret. It's all in the public eye.

From a Covid perspective, because that's an area of great angst, it's not difficult and may be desirable if it provides convenience. In deed, in the NHS the need to move staff quickly from one hospital to another created a verified digital identity for those staff who needed one, thus speeding up the process and enabling hospitals to support each other.

This is a form of treason against it's citizens.

These types of Marxists governments must be stopped.

Those who wish to remain silent and those scared deserve what they get.

Not wanting to be forced to carry an ID card, that's for sure. I have my License, that's all the ID I need.

Lots of us in Britain are opposed to this, it will be interesting to see where this goes...

Maybe in the rest of the UK but Scotland's Track & Trace app is opitional and widely used. Not been pinged once...
