The way I look at it, anything which makes you wait on some bogus timer must not be very important to begin with.
Think about it, McAfee is dead. Anything he had would have been compiled before his death. What point would there be in waiting even a single day on
releasing some damning information? Let alone waiting a month+, and then putting something behind some several hour long bogus timer?
There's an old saying..."Strike while the iron's hot". Half of the world has forgotten who McAfee even was by now. What purpose would waiting
a month or longer serve? A true "dead man" switch goes off instantly, it doesn't wait for some duration of time to go off. Anything McAfee could
have known would have best been served up immediately following his death in..."Here's why they killed me! These are the goods I had on
them."...fashion. It doesn't have nearly the same impact over a month later. In fact, it's just about enough time for some troll to cock up a
bunch of bogus data, so it even smacks of being fake and bogus from that perspective also.
This is just a ruse.
McAfee is probably rolling in his grave right now, laughing at the rubes who fell for some internet troll's little mind game.
