A lot of veterans exist who went through their enlistment and commissions without ever coming into contact with anything strange or "UFO" related. You are one of those based upon your statement?
I lived at Kirtland Air Force Base for a few years and saw several things including two non human beings. A lot of odd things happened at Kirtland AFB over the years, and a lot of people have seen them there. A lot of other people there didn't see anything though.
Just because you didn't see anything yourself is no reason to claim they don't exist.

Why? What's your reasoning?
The international space shuttle in space would have been destroyed by any aliens. Sorry but I don't read sci - fi comics .

To me it appears these things/people are curious and amused at mankind's military interests. Their displays are a statement of what they think of our current level of achievement in technology. Maybe the Earth's people should be doing better things than practicing war.
Unfortunately, we can't do that unless everyone on the planet did it. And did it honestly.

i suggest everyone reads the book about the ufo phenomena on skinwalker ranch.
it's as close as you can get to ufo incidents as they got researched by scientists.
never thought i would say this but they are more like demons than anything else.
Demons? Get a grip. No such thing. Demons are a product of humanities carefully cultivated fears. They’re not real. UAP’s are real, but likely not from deep or interstellar space.

In Bible canon they were called the watchers.
Depicted throughout history. The only thing we lack is scale. It's quite difficult to judge the size of the spheres when they are airborne.
