By the numbers: Census to show first decline of white population

The latest census is expected to show the first decline in history for the nation's non-Hispanic white population, according to an analysis of U.S. Census Bureau data by the Brookings Institution's William Frey. Why it matters: The U.S. is rapidly moving toward a majority-minority population — with the racial and ethnic diversity most apparent in younger cohorts. "This really is moving in a direction that’s going to favor the issues and the political agendas of these younger people," Frey told Axios. "Republicans are going to have to awaken to this." By the numbers: The official 2020 census population estimates that include race and ethnic breakdowns for the prior decade have yet to be released. Yet looking at the recently published annual numbers gives demographers reliable insight into what those figures will show. The number of non-Hispanic white people in the U.S. declined in each of the past four years — by more than 1 million altogether. That's enough to offset the small growth in that population during the first six years of the decade. White population growth has slowed in recent decades, largely because of falling fertility rates as Americans wait longer to have kids and have fewer of them.

These new estimates show annual population changes by race and ethnicity between July 2010 and July 2020. They indicate that, for each year since 2016, the nation’s white population dropped in size. Thus, all of U.S. population growth from 2016 to 2020 comes from gains in people of color. These statistics extend and update a trend revealed in data published last year, and further emphasize why the diversity profile of the U.S. population is rising rapidly. This is especially the case for the nation’s younger population, which experienced the greatest white population losses. The statistics also imply that, as the white population ages and declines further, racial and ethnic diversity will be the hallmark demographic feature of America’s younger generations, including Gen Z and those that follow.

I am sure this is a natural progression of the “melting pot” that is the United States, where generations of immigrants have come to our country, and brought diversity to our shores. At the same time, I think that this causes a great amount of fear among some people in our society who feel that they are loosing their way of life.

I suppose it will cause some turbulence in our society as it turns a deeper brown, but we are a nation of people that can accept change, and always have.

I wonder what they really fear.

We are all mixed. I have people in my family that are labeled as Black, that have less melanin in their skin than those that identify and label themselves White.

So it can't be about color, it has to be about something else. When we start being honest about what that something else is, we may be able find a solution.

I just hope we wake up before they start demanding the chips, passports, and thee camps.

So I was at my Son's birthday party the other day.
There were Filipinos and Filipinas and Mestizos and as far as I know they were all U.S. citizens.

My First Wife was there with her date talking about her other son who was there, "Who would have known that an illegal alien could father such a great son!"

We all had a good old time. The banana lumpia was the best.

According to the chart: whites were 63.8 % in 2010 down to 59.7% in 2020.

I smoke tobacco. People like me, unappreciated dying breed, have been blamed for much. And we've been forced to pay disproportionately.

The State says "We're increasing the Children's Health Coverage". But the voters must approve tax hikes. So someone says "Oh let's just put it on the ballot as tobacco tax hike. The majority non-smokers will surely go for that." And so they do.

So now I walk around in front of a mini mart carrying a sign, BUY CIGARRETTES: DO IT FOR THE CHILDREN. And when people tell me, "But I don't smoke, and neither do my children. What would I do with a pack of cigarettes?" I just say, "You can give them to me and I will dispose of them for you."

I am pretty damn sure most people here you are addressing have been working this whole time, minus the ones stomped out by the jackboot leftist shutdown mantra prison style rhetoric you seem to enjoy for the Greater Good of Humanity.
Meanwhile you keep on choosing and picking certain sectors of humanity based only on their skin colour not their conduct or merit.
