As I already said, I certainly hope that this scheme is expanded in all sorts of directions. I have had to carry certificates saying that I don't have any std or communicable disease as a condition of getting my visa. Having them in app form would be fantastic.

You could put allergy data on there as well. You could tap your phone on the menu and have it bring up all the food that's safe to eat.

I could use it to prove that my kids have had their shots for pre school, it could be used at the border to stop people bringing in tropical disease.

Nobody's freedom is being threatened. You aren't losing any freedom, you're just going to have to go to a couple of different stores because you refuse to comply with the admissions policy. That's your choice. Nobody is doing this to you except for your self. It's all you.

Businesses should be free to refuse to serve the unvaxxed, its first amendment speech. Freedom of speech and freedom of association.

It's no different from Walmart saying that you can't enter wearing a shirt with an offensive slogan on it, or a nail salon saying you can't come in if your going commando.

I travel lots too or did... I also have lots of vaccines for my job I got them willing because they made sense. but I’ve never been asked by anyone any place in any country about any of it. I feel it should stay that way.

Or perhaps it will be too late. The vaccine passport is not necessary. We already have a passport and immunization records as you already stated. This is about controlling the people. The lockdowns were the test.

Correction: the government does not exist to grant you your freedom. They only taje it away and issue it back in the form of a privilege.

Like I said, every citizen will get their digital passport. Unlike the passports of old which only showed if you were allowed to travel somewhere, these new digital passports will show your medical condition, if you paid your taxes, past convictions etc..

They only have to scan your QR and grant or deny you access without having to know the reason.

Do you have any idea how much of a pain it is having separated documents for everything?

It's like doing your tax returns, but you need to fill in a different form for every week of the year.

Governments exist to do the things that individuals can't.ike manage a crisis. There would be no need for a vaccine passport if people were honest and responsible, but people aren't. This is something that needs to be done because the people have demonstrated that they cannot be trusted to do it for themselves.

Many people who got vaccinated did it to avoid the passport. They just trusted the rhetoric... A reason why you shouldn't bend in front of menaces.

Your problems like the hassle of maintaining both a passport and vaccination record for all your travel sound exactly like the kind of problem 95% of the rest of the people never need to worry about yet you want to make this everyone elses issue. Freedom comes at a prize and most are not willing to pay it.
